Now with my new iPad Air 2, this was the correct choice once again. Yes, it adds a bit of weight, but the shell with the exterior portfolio not only protects but feels good in your hands. Otter box has a great design that fits snugly around the iPad --no fear of it falling out, as with some lesser priced folios. And the landscape or vertical swivel works very well. Highly recommend this product!

Additionally, we're sorry about any miscommunication regarding the screenless style of the Symmetry series. Historically, the Symmetry case has never come with any sort of built-in screen protector and was designed to provide superior security in a slim design. If your heart is set on screen protection, we might suggest looking at our Defender series, which does have a protector built-in. Excellent Protective Air 2 Case

Protection for the Air 2 is well built and it fits the iPad perfectly. The quick on / off while opening / closing the flap is a nice feature. It will take a little while for the case to loosen up when rotating the orientation but that is expected. It stays in place nicely when in folio mode. My only complaints are that the iPad bounces a little when in folio mode while using the iPad and it adds quite a bit of weight. Not a show stopper though.

The best buy i went to doesn't have cases for the newest version of the ipad and basically thats what the salesman i spoke to and just recommended me to get this. I dont have any other choice but to get this cause this is the only place i can get it really quick.

We are sorry for any confusion on which case will work with the new iPad 9.7. Unfortunately the Symmetry for the iPad Air 2 will not work. Thankfully BestBuy is great with returns so you should be able to get that resolved with relative ease. We are working really hard on getting an OtterBox for the 9.7 out as soon as possible. As of this response our website has an estimated release date of July 1st. Of course, this date could change but this is what we are shooting for. Ok but I have some concerns

It is week around the edges. It will probably break there first. The wrap around is already bowing so the fit is not as good. Recommend other Otter Box products.
