I had been an avid OtterBox customer but I will not buy another OtterBox. The edges of the case turned colors after a week. After dropping my phone—totally my fault—the case did not protect my phone and the back shattered along with the camera. Other OtterBox cases, in my experience, protected my phone, but something is amiss with this one. I do not recommend this product.

There are actually a few factors that can potentially cause those case discoloring troubles, but our Otter engineers work hard to keep such cosmetic complications at bay. While we design our cases to minimize the risk of damage, there are variables that can influence the outcome of any drop or fall that we're unable to prevent. We can't extend our warranty to the device itself, as we aren't the manufacturer. We'd be more than happy to help with a brand new case though. Terrible company and phone case

I saw another person comment with the same issue and all otterbox says it that they can replace their terrible phone case. Worse $50 I ever spent and terrible policies all around for otterbox. Why buy the phone case if it doesn’t protect your phone from a casual drop.
