My problems are that its very slippery on back. The sides have this rubberized grip, but over the course of two days that material started to get dirty and discolor. If your $50 case starts discoloring in two days its return time

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY THIS AWFUL ABOMINATION OF A “CASE” THAT IS THE OTTERBOX SYMMETRY+. I have never cracked or dented any of my phones in the past. I’ve treated them all with above average care, always used a tempered glass and a decent full coverage case that offered drop protection, a raised front lip for front falls, raised camera lip for camera protection, magsafe installed, and a sleek, slim-looking design that offered all of the above protection without being way too bulky and ugly like the otterbox defender to name one. I was using my iphone 14 pro max while sitting down on the bus, and a sudden stop caused it to slide off my lap onto the bus’s plywood floor less than 1.5ft high. I thought nothing of that “drop”, but to my surprise, after immediately taking off this otterbox case from my 14 pro max — the entire back of my phone was completely shattered to pieces!!! Thankfully, I had originally signed up for Apple Care + when I bought my phone, so the back would cost $29 to repair/replace. But the fact that this “case” couldnt even handle a pathetically short 1 ft drop onto plywood, goes to show that you should AVOID THIS CASE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! I highly recommend either getting the “PHONE REBEL REBEL GEN 4 ARAMID FIBER”, or the “MOUS LIMITLESS 5.0”, or the “BENKS HYBRID ARAMID FIBER 1500D”, or the “PITAKA MAGEZ CASE PRO 3 1500D ARAMID FIBER”

I’ve dropped my phone multiple times while trying to pick it up off a table when the phone is screen side down. The case did protect my iPhone from external damage, but the case has no grip and is the reason I keep dropping my phone while trying to pick it up. I’ve never had that problem with other cases, so I will be looking for a new case immediately. I do not recommend this case.

Posted .You're not wrong to expect the Symmetry Series+ Clear case to retain its natural clarity for a lot longer than a couple of weeks, and we're sorry that things have gone aesthetically sideways in such a hurry. Between that and the multiple unexpected drops, it's safe to say you haven't been able to enjoy the case as was intended.
We actually went with the smooth surface on this streamlined case to help folks grab it from pockets and whatnot, though we definitely aren't out to encourage any mishaps. Sides discolor within weeks

It looks super gross and dingy now. I tried to clean it to see if it was just dirty, to no avail. Expensive case for less than a month of use. Absolutely DO NOT recommend.

With the last case after multiple drops my phone was fine. I drop it once with this case and my screen shatters. Definitely do not recommend.
