After dropping my brand new iPhone 1 time with this case on, the back of the phone shattered. Absolutely useless product. Not designed to do what it is supposed to do. Thank goodness for apple care but seriously don’t waste your money.

The rim became completely detached from the backplate. I couldn’t recommend this to anyone.

When I picked the phone up, the back was shattered. Reviews on the company’s site are similar. This is happening to lots of people. Protect your phone with something better!

If you're looking for a case with a bit more protection, you might want to check out one of our multi-layered cases, like the Commuter Series or Defender Series Pro XT. Or if you don't plan on using the MagSafe feature from you device, we have our Otter + Pop Symmetry Series case that features a built-in PopSocket. I would think with the Otterbox brand name and cost that it would fit over a thin screen protector for the front and camera on the back

Although we don't currently make any camera lens covers, we do have a number of screen protector options that can be added to the mix for those interested in an extra layer of security for the face of their device.
