I have yet to drop my phone, so cannot speak on drop protection. The case is raised on though so your phone screen does not rest flat on a surface.

I also think the area on the back of the phone where the 3 camera lenses are could be a bit better protected. I definitely feel this case is way over priced! I would not buy again.
