Can’t Survive 3 ft Drop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used an otterbox and tempered glass screen protector with my iPhone 14 Pro from day 1. I have taken good care of it and not done anything significant that should cause damage to it. Then one fateful day, I dropped my phone while removing it from my pocket, and the entire back cracked. The crack started on the side of the camera bump, so I suspect a design flaw created a pressure point that caused the phone to crack when dropped a certain way. Otherwise, it’s a good case, but there is no point in having one if it cannot survive a 3 ft fall. It definitely does not meet the 3x Mil Std rating that Otterbox claims, but Otterbox does not stand by their product and will not replace the phone.

Posted .We are truly sorry that you had such a discouraging experience with your iPhone's display having been damaged during the fall from your pocket. Unfortunately, an outcome such as this is really about the specific dynamics of the incident rather than the design of the case. We can certainly appreciate how it might not be seen that way, but we do an excessive amount of drop testing on the case design, and the camera area has proven to be no more or less at risk.

Well built and works great with my magsafe charger. The only thing is that less than 1 week after my kid got it, he dropped his phone outside and it fell on street and cracked the screen protector. While the phone seems to be fine, I would have thought the case would have protected the screen a bit more.
