Magsafe magnets are strong and hold well. Taking away one star for the discoloration that happens on the back of the case right where the Magsafe magnets are.

Someone thought putting MagSafe sticker in what was a normal OtterBox case acceptable. My phone never acknowledged it was MagSafe. When I made it home and put on the MagSafe Charger, it would charge as it does in my Qi sensor in the car. I kept it for two days and returned it. In short, if you don't care about MagSafe and want protection for your phone, then this is for you. But if you want your features to fully function on your phone, go look for something else.

Posted .Well, it's certainly good to know that you're confident in the protective abilities of the Symmetry Series case, though we were definitely surprised by your experience with and impression of its MagSafe aspect. Although the internal mechanisms of the iPhone and Apple's MagSafe accessories will have certain material differences from the component inside one of our cases, the design of those specifically made for use with MagSafe was, in fact, approved by Apple.
