We're sorry to hear your case is staining and that installation was a challenge. To install the OtterBox, we recommend placing your iPhone into the case starting with the top right corner (power button and cameras) then work your way around the rest of the Symmetry Series+ with MagSafe. As far as the stain goes, we recommend removing your device from the case, then clean the OtterBox with warm water and a mild soap. Afterwards, give the product some time to air dry before reinstalling your iPhone. For further assistance, please give us a ring at 1-855-688-7269.

Not what I was expecting from otterbox

When installing/removing a Symmetry Series case for iPhone 12/12 Pro/12 Pro Max/12 mini, we recommend starting with the upper right corner of the device (camera and power button corner). After that, the following 3 corners should pop on/off much easier.
