The way I hold my phone, my pinky is uncomfortable with the open space on the bottom. I will be returning it and probably purchase one that is completely closed on the bottom.

I keep thinking it is going to give me a paper cut. The quality of Otterbox's printing on this just bad. The face that this case is 6x more expensive than some better cases makes it a definite pass. Please avoid. I am disappointed, as my family has owned a few Otterbox Defenders, and they were great at protecting our phones.

Slippery in your hand

Doesn’t rest flat on any surface. Irritating design. Personally not a fan.

MagSafe not so great

I have used symmetry cases before and they were snug but this one was so tight i couldn't get it on my phone because of the lip around the edge. it could be forced on, but probably be forced just as much to remove. Will be returning. Otherwise, the quality is what you'd expect from Otterbox.

Deciding instead to continue using an older charger that I had been using with my old iPhone 10. Well I eventually decided to upgrade to a magsafe charger to take advantage of the increased charging power. Well, two weeks after my store return period had ended I find that my iPhone will not charge when using a case that states it is specifically designed to work with MagSafe. This case was a complete waste of money as the primary reason for purchasing it was the ability to charge using MagSafe.

It is hard to put in the case (use camera side) and hard to take out (use port side). I returned it when it felt a too warm to hold in your hands even if it wasn't charging. The open areas was even warmer.

Donot buy this case for the iPhone Pro Max!

It was incredibly hard to get on. (I'm a guy with relatively strong hands). The Pro Max has problems with wireless charging. I thought it might be the non-Apple case. Removing the case required cutting/destroying this case with scissors.

Keep in mind, when using chargers that aren't Apple MagSafe chargers, we highly recommend OtterBox Power options for the best Qi charging experience. We appreciate your feedback about your difficulty with installing that case. The good news is, we have a helpful tip for easier installation of that OtterBox. We recommend installing the case on the right corner first. Once your camera and power buttons are in the case, move clockwise, and insert the bottom right corner of the phone into the corresponding corner of the case, so that the right side of the phone is installed in your OtterBox. After, apply pressure to the bottom left corner then the top left corner. To remove the case, simply do these steps in reverse!
