Really like the brightness and the portability (lack of chord). Full charge only lasted a bit more than a two hours. Wish it would be longer for my needs.

This light is just what i was looking for - portable, light weight, and a USB for charging. My only complaint is that the touch censor is not as responsive as it could be

Despite the high wattage of the ceiling lights I was using for my Zoom meetings, my face was dark. So I thought of purchasing the OTT Light and using it instead. It gives out just the right amount of brightness which solved my problem. I just wish it would stay on longer on battery power. I have to keep it permanently plugged in on my laptop so it wouldn't die in the middle of meetings. Charging it often is inconvenient.

This task lamp is actually better than advertised! Fully charged I have operated it for over 5 hours when set to minimum brightness - and that is more than adequate for most situations, with the lamp directly above the material illuminated. I find it extremely useful because it is easily moved from one location to another for whatever the need is - such as the kitchen table for tax returns, or my computer table to better illuminate some manual. I recommend it!

I love this little desk lamp. I waited several months before I was willing to review it. I have now had the opportunity to use it while traveling and at home on battery power only. The three levels of brightness are great but if you want the best battery life keep it on the lowest setting it gave me a little over three hours. If you need a versatile light good for zoom calls, reading a book or to just brighten up a small space I would definitely recommend this one.

This is good choice for an emergency light or maybe one you need to put in an odd place where you can'e easily plug it in. But there are some design choices I am not wild about. Sure it looks great and the light color and intensity are very good. Unfortunately, all the controls dealing with the light are touch, which isn't the great idea. First of all, you simply cannot see or feel them in the dark. Second the controls are kind of flaky. You need touch them just right to get them to respond, which can be frustrating. And whats with a separate coin battery for the clock (and backlight I assume) for the Time, Temp and Alarm. Can't this run off the same rechargeable battery that powers the lamp? The set controls for the clock and alarm also are pretty dreadful. Tiny and unintuitive. Oh and why even bother with the alarm and the multiple songs? The speaker is so tiny, it's like trying to hear a gnat singing. Which is to say, you can barely hear it at all, so there is no way this alarm would ever wake up anyone. Just a few decibels higher than complete silence. It's an attractive design but the build quality is not the greatest. Doesn't fit together very well, with big gaps in some places where it all fits together. Feels kinda fragile. Charging time also is quite long. Hours..... Overall, it's a nice rechargeable light. The fold up design and tilt head is a great idea. I just wish there had been a little more thought put into the design of the controls and speaker.

I bought this lamp for my daughter. It is a very bright, compact size. and time, date, day display In lamp. It is easy to use. Very nice.

Nice little unit for reading in bed. I could do without the temperature being displayed, but I imagine some people will find a use for it. A bit disappointed by how quickly my unit discharges while not in use...I expected it to hold a charge longer. All in all, it is really nice for reading at night. The light emitted is a nice white light. Got it as a daily deal, and for the price I would buy it again.

I got this lamp for my mom to use on her hospital bed tray. The other one I'd gotten her eventually wouldn't work unless it was plugged in no matter how long it had been charged. Plus, because it was very top heavy, there was always a danger of it tipping over. I decided to get this OttLite Rechargeable LED Task Lamp, and we are happy with it. The base is sturdy, and it doesn't have to be plugged in at all times to work. The light is very bright (it has 3 brightness settings), and my mom likes the time & date display. Unfortunately, we can't get the day to set properly and the temperature never seems to be right, but that's no big deal. I'm only giving it 4 stars because every once in a while it will turn itself off when plugged in (but when you turn it back on, it's fine), plus the button to turn it off/adjust the brightness can be a little tricky to maneuver...you have to hit that part of the base just right, which is hard for my mom when it's dark and she can't see it. It would be nice if the button was raised a little, so it would be easier to find.

I have this now for like a month, been using twice a week, touch sensors are very unresponsive, battery last about 60 min on minimum intensity, portable and nice, well constructed personally I use it on top of my desk to read documents, not to that strong for travel. good thing that is powered with a micro USB, meaning that can be hocked to a portable power bank.

I love how you can charge and use this lamp anywhere in the world. The light is strong and does not hurt the eyes. Plus, it's lightweight so that you can put it in your purse/bag/backpack and take it with you on travels. It charges fast, with one charge lasting a bit more than two hours - just enough for bed reading or working on your laptop during flights/train rides.

I have some plug-in Ott lights and love them. This one has the brightness I was looking for, but has two flaws, in my opinion. The first is a daily alarm that can be changed, time wise, but cannot be turned off! I don't want or need an alarm from this product, so I find this feature quite annoying. I also find myself having to recharge the battery far more often than I'd like, so overall I give this product an average rating.

Great light to use at your desk or to take with you anywhere you need bright adaptable light l, oh and it tells you the time and date also. As an artist Ottlite has been my go to for over 20 years. They have follow their legacy with this model and created a highly functional quality product that will never leave you lost on the dark. I highly recommend this product. I have a standard usb power pack I keep with mine so I always have power.

Really like this little light. It's quite bright enough to use on my desk when I need a little more light for a specific task. I do wish the battery held a charge a bit longer, but otherwise it's almost perfect.

This light is small and takes up little space but gives off plenty of light when needed. Has some great features time, date, day and temperature and the best is yet to come its rechargeable so you can carry it around the house or on trips. Works as advertised and easy to follow instructions. Worth every penny of the purchase price.

Nice bright light, portable, and the base needs very little space. It has a night light built in, too. Didn't know that when I purchased it. We just leave it in it's box, and put it in our suitcase, but you could just stick it in your suitcase without the box just fine if you're cramped for space. We really like the OttLite line of lamps, and this is a great one for on the road, especially if the power goes out. We recommend this lamp.

Nice small size, light weight, light is bright. Works great as a second light source on my desk.

I recently bought a USB-charged LED folding desk light for my wife - specifically for when she is building puzzles. It is a slick piece of gear and when she had put her puzzle away, I move the light to her bedside table because she needed a reading light. It is small and compact, but not necessarily made for moving back and forth. So, I went about looking for another light she could use for her puzzle building. I was hoping to find something that worked as well, but was more portable. BestBuy must have been reading my mind because this light showed up in my email. It is perfect! It is compact, flexible, works well, and has some pretty cool extra features (time, date, temp). And it will be easy for her to throw in her overnight bag or backpack when she takes her puzzles on the road to families and friends. We like it so much we bought another for a birthday present for her puzzle-building sister. Nice lampl

My mom and I have both gotten one. She uses it for sewing by her machine . I use mine for dot painting and we bothe love them. It takes up little space soyou have more workspace. The levels of light make it great for sunny or not so sunny days through the windows. Always love Ottlite.
