Very true to the books. It begins slow but picks up the pace and keeps you enthralled through each episode. The actors fit the parts perfectly.

In Volume 2, Caitriona Balfe continues as Claire, Sam Heughan as Jamie, tobias Menzies plays Frank Randall (a richer role than the book, actually), and the rest of the cast is just as suburb.

My wife watched the series so this is her review. She just finished watching volume 2 and its just as good as volume 1. She is looking forward to more seasons!

I love these DVD's and the ability to order on line and pick up the same day. I just had surgery and didn't have the energy to walk around the store.

So if you've seen the first half of Season 1 you already kinda know what the show is about. Blu-ray Disc is always so much crisper than Dvd.

I am a fan of the Outlander series and wanted to own a hard copy. Because some of my girlfriends had not previously watched the series on tv we are gathering for movie night and watching the series together.

Bought the first disc needed the second to complete. The !st season should be bundled together two disc in one. Enjoyed the show. would recommend

Outlander is the most underrated TV show on air right now. The cast is nominated for awards every season and this purchase will not disappoint!

This series is amazing!!! History, action, romance, men in kilts, Sam Heughan shirtless a good portion of the time. Absolutely can't go wrong.

I caution that this series has a great deal of violence and adult content. The acting and story line are awesome. Makes me want to run off to Scotland . I would recommend this to adults who love a well acted beautifully set series who doesn't mind violence and VERY duplicate adult content.

This show is fabulous! I hope it continues for several more seasons. This box set was a little disappointing, though. The price wasn't worth it.

I bought this on sale as I kept missing the first couple of episodes on STARZ. Great quality, worked very nicely on my laptop.

I ordered this online and picked up at store. The whole process was easy, went smoothly, and the discs work fine. Also it was easy to get the uv download. The show is wonderful.
