This a classic romance mixed with sci fi mixed in between that does a great job expanding and exploring its characters. But beware, the material at times if not suitable for children .

I love the books and really enjoyed the first half of season 1! I haven't finished the second half of season 1 yet but am really enthralled in this series! I Love this series and would recommend it!

All the Jamie and Claire fans in the world should get this series. If you are not already one of them from reading Diana Gabaldon's books, you most certainly will be after watching this series.

Great series by the Starz network. Saw this first season when we had this network and enjoyed the drama, action, and historical background of this story set in the Highlands of Scotland.

This series follows the book very accurately. Readers of the series will not be disappointed! The photography is exceptional and there is great attention to authenticity of all set and costume design.

Outlander is a great show -- it's like Game of Thrones but with less gore and nudity, and more romance. The cast is great, including all the supporting characters. Shot on-location across Scotland, the show is worth watching for the scenery alone.

This is an amazing TV series! The actors are superb and the backdrop is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend Outlander to anyone with an interest in historical and science fiction TV series.

Made for tv but you wouldn't know it. Awesome characters, costumes, acting and filming. Gorgeous scenery. History, drama, romace, time travel, adventure in one place. Watched all 8 hours in one day.

This will keep your attention. Some parts can be a little rough for those who find it difficult to watch one human physically abuse another. But, the overall storyline is captivating.

Haven't finished the 1st season yet but so far in love with their depiction of the books and how well it follows the storyline. Can't wait to finish the first season and get the second.

This series 1 was Awesome, I was looking for something new to watch. This was perfect! Can't wait for season 2 to come out. The music was entertaining and the story line keeps me interested.

The second half of the first season was amazing. Turn your head away or keep the BP down by realizing the story line. Can't wait to get into the second season and binge watch more!

It's a romance, it's a time-travel story, it has beefy manly men and a dame who is a strong woman in a time when those were supposed to be seen and not heard. I loved this.

Solid entertainment, although it'd be nice if there were more episodes to the set. Good story and great overall production by Ron Moore (Battlestar Galactica) Looking forward to the next season.

The concept of this series (Season 1, Volumes 1 & 2) made me curious. I was greatly relieved to be fascinated by the story, the scenery, and the wonderful actors. I can't wait for Season 2.

This series is so interesting. Saw the 2nd part in Starz and wanted to see the first part. Was not disappointed . Ordered this DVD online and it came so quickly. A have to see movie.

This series is based on the book Outlander. Just watching this made me want to read the series. The acting brought these characters to life. Scotland landscape is breathtaking on bluray.

I bought this on a whim and I was definitely not disappointed. It was funny, intriguing and sexy. I finished it in one sitting and went out and bought the second half the same day.

I read the first book, now am watching the series. The stories line up almost perfectly (although you would not need to read the book to enjoy the series). Great story, great setting.
