The installation performed by the 3rd party contractor was atrocious! He ripped my perfectly good microwave off the wall breaking its bracket (which was supposed to be reinstalled at my Florida house), ripped my wallpaper, broke my countertop, installed the microwave on a slant and blew out the plastic top to leave a hump. He also installed the dishwasher which would not work properly It was also crooked, leaking and not venting properly. It sat with the rubber side flaps sticking out. I had to call Samsung to look at it. They confirmed the problem was installation. Best Buys', Justin out of the Bluffton Office, from Geek Squad finally arrived 4 months later to address the problems with the microwave. He did a fantastic job removing the damaged appliance and reinstalling the new replacement. The overall rating of Excellent was for Geek Squad and definitely not the original 3rd Party Contractor. Best Buy needs to rethink the way they install appliances by 3rd parties. Too much time and energy is being wasted by the customer when things go wrong and it is not acceptable.

The delivery was team was excellent, they arrived on time and very courteous. went right to work on taking down the old microwave. and knew exactly what to do and how to do the installation I was very impressed with them, and it was done so quickly and efficiently I went upstairs for a moment , when my husband informed me that they were done! good job Geek Squad!!! I will do another review on the actual microwave in a few days.

I ordered the installation service with my new microwave and was completely satisfied with their work. They removed the old microwave, installed and tested the new one and even hauled off my old unit. To be so thorough, it was also amazingly fast as it only took them about thirty minutes. I would definitely use them again.

The Installers looked over the job, decided what need to be done and in 30 minutes removed the old Microwave and installed the new one. Fast and Professional. Gave us a quick "How to Use" demonstration; and gone in a half an hour. Perfect! Didn't have to wait all day for this happen.

In my region, Best Buy uses its Geek Squad service to do the installation. The Geek Squad team has some standards for how it handles in-home installation to make it be more professional and consistent. The hardest part of doing a microwave install is actually holding it up to mount it to the cabinet. It helps to have a second person to ensure it is done right. This service does include remounting the standard ducts, if present. To make this easier, make sure you ensure that the height/width/depth of your available space will fit the new unit. The website does contain all of this information on the item profile. I would not call this service inexpensive especially when compared to the cost of the unit, but the process went a lot faster than doing it on my own. The Squad team members also ensured to return the area to the same clean level as it was when they arrived and they are very clear in their communication about summarizing the service before leaving. The worse part is likely getting a scheduled appointment soon enough as it can take a few days to get an opening confirmed.

A two-man team was sent to install the microwave. They were not Best Buy employees but local contractors. They said it was their first booking from Best Buy. They did fine other than struggling with drilling some of the holes in my cabinet. When I checked their work later, they had made one of the holes too big. It was a bit clumsy but other than that, the installation was fine. I later read that the template GE supplies is poor and anyone using it could have similar problems where the template hole does not match where the microwave needs it. I am sure I would have done at least as badly if not worse, if I had opted to install it myself. Anyway, so long as I don't climb up and look down into the cabinet, the installation looks great and they did a good job. They were fast and maybe could have cleaned up a bit better but they said their rechargeable shop-vac had run out of power. I did it myself in about 2 minutes so no real hardship.

so far the microwave is doing great. we love the counter depth of this unit and its features

Very pleased with the installation. I was kept advised expected arrival time. The actual installation was completed quicker than I expected. Couldn't be happier.

Overall good microwave at a very good price! Has plenty of features and presets that have come very useful and convenient. Definitely gets the job done and would recommend for somebody looking for a really good microwave that also on a budget. Looks great also by the way, very sleek and sturdy :) Thank you

The service is a must have when you order the over-the-range microwave. Highly recommended. My wife and I are very satisfied with the service. We got a free haul away service as well. Worth the money. The installers called before the arrival. They came on time as scheduled. They're very well prepared, they got their masks on, and their shoes covered with shoes' blue cover so that my carpet & floor wouldn't get dirty. They carefully removed the old microwave so that the dirt/debris wouldn't fall all over the floor. They measured, drilled the needed holes, mounted/lifted the heavy microwave, and installed it perfectly. They worked reasonably fast as well. Highly professional and highly recommended service.

Fernando was the best installer ever!!! I was about to return my appliances that were delivered to my home because they came with some damages (small dents), but he did such a good job of installing everything properly in their place that his quality of work overshadowed the small defects (These damages were done at the warehouse, not by Fernando). Returning the appliances would’ve been a mistake. Fernando definitely went above and beyond in explaining how all the appliances work and made our kitchen look modern and sophisticated. He is the reason I didn’t go to Home Depot!

This microwave has many great features. Some I'll never use but the speed cook, oven light and vent all work well. The sleek design is great but for a left-handed person the door opens only on the right and it is somewhat awkward for me. The deliverymen couldn't install the unit so I called my contractor and it was no problem for them.

The installers with Best Buy were great! They knew their job and were in and out very fast! Really appreciated their efficiency!

The installers called me the day they were scheduled to do the installation and informed me that they would be arriving earlier than planned. This was good since I wouldn't have to wait around all day. The installers arrived on time and proceeded to remove the old microwave. Everything went super fast and smooth and before I knew it, the new microwave had been installed. Once installed, one of the installers set up the clock and allowed me to test it to make sure everything was working properly, which it was. He gave me a few more instructions before leaving and everything was good to go. I've been using the microwave for almost two weeks now, and everything has been fine. Definitely a good experience.

Best Buy used Elite Appliance for my install and I couldn’t be more pleased. They did a superb job. It was a quick, clean install and they stayed to confirm that everything was working correctly. I selected Best Buy for my purchase because they said they could install over my tile backsplash. They fulfilled all their promises.

The LG has been installed and working very well for several weeks. It is the second install and tip of the hat to Best Buy installers who could not get the first one in and made arrangements for a replacement. No cost to me. The LG is quiet and really heats items very well. The oven is quiet and the controls are clear and visible. Have to like the little tune when the cooking is complete. No annoying sounds. Looking forward to a long relationship. Oh yeah, the venting really works.
