The bracket on the wall was not placed in the stud and the microwave could have easily fallen and broken our new stovetop. We luckily caught it because we had to move the cabinets down some to allow the microwave door to fully open. If we hadn’t done that, it would have eventually fallen and broken our cabinet and stovetop.

They had to drill a new hole in the counter above because the cord wouldn't fit through the old one and seemed to unnecessarily drill it in the middle instead of the back. Now is harder to fit stuff above it.

After replacement was later installed, I noticed a small screw hole in the exposed area of my cabinet.

great installation, expensive for 10 minute job

Installer did a nice job, cleaned up after himself, and even cleaned his finger prints of the microvave he hung for us. Considering this was a very easy job, it was expensive.

One of the installers tried to tell the other guy is was angled and he chose to ignore it. I called Jennair and they told me to call Best Buy. I bought a new dishwasher from BB and it was installed perfectly by a different installer.

Best Buy had an outside contractor do the installation. The contractor did not center the microwave in the hole. Asked if they connected the exhaust to the line, they said they did, but they did not. Left a mess on top of the microwave where it was attached.

Didn’t love the upcharges

Mine went into new cabinets and did not have the proper holes for the vent or electrical. I wish I had known what I needed before installation day.

Issues to install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Here is what happened: 1) The installers changed their appointment from the morning to the afternoon on the day of install (8 am) 2) Microwave instructions did not include a template for the holes to be drilled for the new unit, this caused them to install and remove the new unit multiple times to template the holes and redrill as needed 3) The new microwave got damaged during the install and needed to be replaced, a locking nut in the case no longer worked. They ordered another to arrive in 6 to 8 week 4) They reinstalled the old unit but broke the handle, which is now being held on with tape

During clean up the "helper" managed to scratch my brand new glass cook top before I told him to stop what he was doing! Also the microwave was either damaged in the box or the installers damaged it. They ordered a new one that is supposed to be her in August. Prior to this I have been pleased with Best Buy's installers. Hopefully they can make this right very soon.

Well worth it

Would have given higher rating but they had to remove some tile grout and left the mess for me to clean up. Not a big deal. But they should carry a small vac with them.

No damper means solid stream of cold air coming into the house on cd days.

LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE

First microwave installed worked fine, but the door was misaligned. A new microwave was ordered. It arrived a few days later, but without the install crew, They took it back. A second microwave arrived and was installed. It's door was much worse than the first one. A few days later, another was delivered, but no crew again. They passed each other on our street, but didn't stop. A third microwave was delivered and installed, and the crew boss made sure it worked right before leaving. All of this is bad enough, but the worst is, its up to the customer to phone Best Buy and make the new arrangements. That can be a time consuming and aggravating task, especially when the agent speaks poor english. Best Buy has a terrible customer service system.

Late to the appointment

Notes of the conversion accessory was noted so charged extra. Disappointed with the extra charge and would've had to reschedule if no pay.
