    The installers came in on time but asked about taking the molding off my custom cupboards. They were told it was alright. After the installation, they advised that they would not put the molding back on the cupboards. Not Best Buys responsibility. Not a good thing!

    The install was like pulling teeth one delivery driver was pushing it off on the next

    Best Buy contracted with Quality Kitchens for delivery and installation. The installer came on the scheduled day but said that the kitchen was improperly vented and they would need to send another crew for the installation at an additional cost. We rescheduled for another date Ana agreed to pay an additional $240. The two man installation crew from quality kitchens arrived on the scheduled date but the two workers got into a verbal and physical confrontation That started in my kitchen and continued on my front yard. When one threatened to cut the other, I called 911 and locked my doors. The installation was finally completed under police supervision. The worker did not clean up the debris.

    I have nothing but problems with the Appt system for a total tech. I bought this over the range microwave last April and today’s already June 2 and it has not been installed yet. They rescheduled my appointment six times and every time I talk to total tech they always messed up with my appointment. At first the store did not send me the bolts and brackets that came with it and then total tech sent me the missing parts, and when the technician arrived at my home for the third time they told me that it was the wrong bolts and brackets so I had to request for the parts again and until now the microwaves just sitting in my living room

    They don't know how to remove your microwave

    Disappointed in their capability would state the position. If I had not been here during installation, I do not believe they would have been able to remove. Also, major backsplash removal had to be done to provide installation of the new microwave. Fortunately, we were able to accomplish while they were here to complete the installation as they were unable to do the work by contract or otherwise.

    while not all appliances will fit the same space, there were excessive holes drilled in the cabinet above the microwave.

    They did a good job installing our products but arrived 2.5 hours AFTER the end of the window in which they we're supposed to.

    not Impressed but had to give a star to complete the review. Not impressed with geek squad customer service, not impressed with their tech service and not impressed with their app. I had to cancel my credit card because the app charged me for the microwave installation when I paid for it at the store. When I spoke with their customer service which is based out of India they couldn’t figure out why I was charged again so I had to get a new card. When the geek squad came out to install the microwave the service tech didn’t Drill the holes my cabinet correctly so when the installed the microwave they stripped the bolts because the holes wouldn’t line up now I have a Bosch dishwasher that the geek squad can’t seem to order the correct parts to get it fixed they have been to my house 3 times, this last time the tech left parts on my table and left without putting the parts back on the equipment and I took half day off of work for the forth attempt to fix it but instead of showing up or calling to cancel they emailed my wife with a reschedule date. What ever happened to customer service now it’s just about profit margin.

    Bought this as part of an all-stainless suite. It’s an ok microwave. Build is on a flimsy side but hey it’s just a microwave.

    I have had Best Buy install items before and they have worked well, however in this case installing an over the range microwave did not go well. Not only did he come by himself so he could not lift the unit by himself and needed my help. There was also an issue with the backsplash height which was not visible when the unit was ordered, the contractor did not take this into account and so could not install the unit. When he realized this issue he could not work out to to adjust and do the install, So he left and I had to find another contractor who quickly found a work around and installed the unit. There was no offer of help from Best Buy.

    I was given an installation window of 7 am to 1 pm. They called at 4:38 pm to inform me that they were running late (shocker). They said they were still on the way, but alas, they still never showed. They then told me I had to wait 24-48 hours to reschedule the appointment. When I called to reschedule, after the 48 hours, they told me that the microwave I had already paid for and that they had on the truck to deliver on the day that they never showed, was now out of stock! So did they deliver it to someone else? Worse still, after I called to cancel the order, they never reversed the charges on my card for the microwave that they didn't deliver, so I had to go through my credit card company to cancel the charges.

    I guess my old microwave had a different way of being installed then they’re used to. The tech is very knowledgeable because I’ve had him for other services as well. He couldn’t figure out how to get it off and said they had to hire a third party company to install it. After waiting a few weeks and not hearing back I googled it and put it in myself. I also got my installation fee back.

    DON'T PAY Best Buy TO INSTALL ANYTHING!

    This is the last time I pay Best Buy for installation. They mounted brackets and drilled holes in my cabinets then told me I needed a contractor to cut the tile on my wall so it would fit. Why did you drill holes and mount brackets that I would need to re do in different places to actually do the install? I paid to have an oven installed last year. When delivered they said I needed a plumber to do the gas line and left. I called a plumber who felt bad because his services weren't required. Both professionals that came to finish the work I paid Best Buy for say this happens all the time. DON'T SELL SERVICES YOU CANT PROVIDE!!!
