poor prep information from Consultant

I purchased the oven, microwave and micro trim since 2 months ago. The home consultant failed to tell me that in order to the new appliances to fit, I needed to build a cabinet within my existing one. Then the installers came, they didn't do the installation but they didn't explain neither the issue. Another Gig consultant came and the same. Finally last week the installers came again and told me what I need to do. So your Gig or third party teams have a poor service. Your manager and in store consulta very good

OVER THE RANGE MICROWAVE INSTALLATION

This 3-party company that installed my microwave first came in with dirty work boots (all 3 of them). This was the day before Thanksgiving and I has just finished cleaning. Taking out the old microwave naturally had some dirt and wood shavings on the top which he turned the microwave on its side, and it went on my floor. Looking at the new microwave after it was installed I could see that it stuck out more on the right side and the top was not flush with the cabinet above. They were going to leave and not mention this. He said that something heavy must have been on top of this microwave.

Very disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disappointing installation as I inquired about external venting of the unit as well as dropping the unit to be lower for shorter spouse. Sales indicated that it was possible, but on paid site survey for the unit was conducted, installer indicated that venting for an internal wall microwave/vent would be possible but would go through above cabinet and make a left right angle to rest on overhead cabinets to exit the external kitchen wall. Concern was for trapped gas or grease becoming a fire hazard blockage, so that was nixed. Dropping the unit 1 1/2 inches was also nixed by installers due to adding additional wood to make up spacing for lowering microwave and how it would be bolted to overhead cabinet. Additionally, new microwave/vent required additional vent and bolt cuts to overhead cabinet, which leaves cabinet less than functional. Paying additionally for a site survey and having both requirements nixed by installers leaves us with a less than satisfied feeling of purchase.

Terrible service

The 2 men who came of my house made me feel uncomfortable, they asked me personal questions about my husband and where he works. They asked me if I owned the house. It was just a really uncomfortable experience. They also mocked me because the microwave they uninstalled for me was nicer than the one I purchased. I was very unhappy. I have had so many appliances install by Best Buy and when the Geek Squad does it they are amazing but this 3rd party made me skeptical about getting things installed again.

I would not drill a hole 3 times larger than the bolt, washer is barely holding I'd blame the company more than the worker as company just want to squeeze a buck.

Poor co-ordination between the delivery & service

There was always some or the other mess up. The co-ordination between the service team & delivery team was very poor. I received the microwave after several months of ordering it.

Never got microwave installed bc I waited 4 weeks for delivery which got messed up 4 times and install wasn’t scheduled. The microwave they sent was so damaged they couldn’t install it and still to this day I am with out a microwave waiting for Best Buy to send one like they said. This order was placed on January 29th and today is March 29th. Go to PC Richard’s or anywhere else to get appliances

Beware of delivery out of Madison East Best Buy

This was a horrible installation done really bad. Three guys showed up, one of them spent most of the time in my bathroom. I noticed just after they left that the microwave was not leveled. I called the guy, his truck was still within view but he said it was installed correctly and wouldn’t come back. I call customer service and they arranged another appointment a week later and promised to send a different person. Next appointment the same guy… he canceled, 3rd appointment no one showed. I took matters into my own hands, and removed the microwave. Glad I did, one one screw was in a stud, the other was handing loose in the drywall. The mounting bracket was at least an inch off

Installation woes
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The whole process of shopping for my appliances was great, except for when it came to the installation... I'm in the process of renovating my kitchen so moving things around a bit is still inevitable. So I left the two young man by themselves to install my range & over the range microwave & was stunned afterwards when they left & I had to move the range. They didn't bother to clean up the wood shavings that fell onto the floor from having drilled into the cabinet above to install the over the range microwave. They just installed the range & left it like that. On a side note the range had a dent on it from them transporting it from the truck to my house... my recommendation is to save the money on the install & do it yourself. These kids were a joke I feel terrible for having given them a tip after I saw the mess they hid & left behind the range... now I'm comparison the people that came to install my fridge did an excellent job! Those two fellas were professional & did such an outstanding job!

Very dissatisfied customer

The cooktop had been installed a few weeks before the microwave. I send photos to the installation company and have not heard from them. It has been several weeks with no reply. Not a good representation for Best Buy - it is their recommended installer. Need to have the cooktop repaired if possible or replaced. It is a new unit. Not at all pleased with Best Buy or their installation company!! I need answers and I need the cooktop in the same condition as before!!! It is a new unit.

Horrible Customer Service

Order GE Profile OTR Microwave. They cancelled delivery and installation without notifying me or stating why. The rescheduled and cancelled it again. Then tried to reschedule for 2 months later. Finally cancelled order and bought the item at another store for less and delivered/installed 2 months sooner

Poor customer service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Originally had a date of March 22nd for in stallation,that did not happen i had a 12:30 pm/7;00pm Window around 4:00pm i called customer service and they informed methat my installation was canceled and that i would have to wait another 2 weeks before i could have my Microwave installed...it was very unprofessional of bestbuy not to contact me and waist my time I finally got the Microwave installed the gentleman who installed was very knowledgeable And installed it in a timely Manner...my complaint is with customer service they where very un professional not to contact me and waist my time waiting....(please note customer )service is not what it use to be

Microwave oven
