    They did not install my microwave. The plug was covered by the old microwave, so they wouldn't install the new one.

    Somehow the delivery company got switched and the delivery company that delivered the items don’t install any of the items. I had placed a separate order for the install, because the cashier messed up the first order and never added install to the order. I knew it would get messed up, but thought they wouldn’t try sending it from a delivery company that doesn’t install appliances. That was just stupid. Had to cancel all of my install fees and hire my own guy to install for me. What a pain.

    Meh. These guys should stick to something else. Unit off enter no opportunity to check their install they were gone before I could blink.

    We had an appointment for them to come and install our range and microwave but could only install the microwave. We needed to have someone come in and build a platform for the drop-in range. So we had the platform built. We then had an appointment for Best Buy to then install it Monday, December 7th. I received a confirmation email. No one showed or even called. I called and made another appointment for December 11th today and received a confirmation email. They were supposed to be here between 7am and 1pm. Once again, they haven’t showed and I haven’t received a call.

    A few days after it was delivered and installed, the microwave started to malfunction and shooting sparks from the right interior wall. Best Buy is sending out a replacement next week. Hope all will be well with the replacement. Stay tuned to the next review....

    Microwave Key input Panel Almost Unusable

    This is the SECOND Samsung Microwave. The touch panel to program the system is very unresponsive. One MUST either push hard or keep on punching buttons until it starts responding . This is so BAD, Samsung needs to change their touch panel or recall the microwave. For the record, I am a geek, former Navy Avionics Tech, Electrical Engineer, and a retired Navy Pilot who worked in tech for years. If my wife had not chosen the Samsung products (because they all fit nicely our new condo), I would RETURN ALL of these Samsung products (stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc.), and find something else. NOW, NEITHER of US are happy. Could be a software problem, but I think it is a hardware issue.

    The technician walked in with an attitude because he had called me like three times but when I asked him to see what number he called it was the wrong number…. Then he didn’t even bother to check how he could install the microwave and he said the frame was on the way and could not do it.. I literally pushed the frame and the frame came off… so he never installed the microwave!!!! BAD SERVICE!!!

    I purchased and arranged for installation. The installer never showed up TWICE on the scheduled days and no contact from BEST BUY. When I called to inquire, I just got a response that the system failed. The third appointment finally worked but still don't know what happened to the previous two No Shows. No explanation or apologies. Best Buy wasted my 2 days for waiting for nothing. Never again I will shop here!

    We purchased our microwave on May 16th. We were promised that it would be installed on June 5th from 12 - 8:00. They called about 5:00 and said the gentleman would not be there and they promised us $75.00 for causing us a problem. Then they were scheduled for June 19th from 12:00 - 5:00. We're waiting and then I get a text that the installer would not be there, and has rescheduled on June 25th. I understand that the gentleman was ill, after I called Best Buy, otherwise I would not know why he wasn't to show up. If we don't get it installed on the 25th, we will cancel the order.

    The guy that showed up didn't even have the tools for the job. He had to borrow my husband's. When i got home and saw the pieces he didn't install, we realized he had done it wrong and we had to fix it anyway so we didn't gain anything from having them do it.

    Installers had a template and drilled three holes in the upper cabinet on one side. Certainly not a professional install for what I paid. Installers seemed to be in a hurry, made a mess that I had to clean up.

    When came to deliver micawave they didnt come in a truck that said bestbuy or geek squad they couldnt hook the micawave up cuse there was a outlet in the way thay they could of moved but didnt offer to mover it

    I would give 0 stars if I could. It is 5 months later and my microwave is still not installed because they came to the house 2 times without the brackets to install the microwave. And eventually after calling and having to go to Best Buy, I was told I will have to order the part myself, since Best Buy does not even sell the bracket, and then install it myself. Even though I paid extra for TotalTech.

    No Installation, took away mounting template

    I arranged to have the over the range microwave hood installed when purchased along with haul away of old unit. The old bracket was glued to the wall which allowed the install to be not possible for the team. When they removed the old unit, they took away the packaging for the new unit as well which had the mounting template for the new unit. Made it very difficult to install on my own but it is done. Sad part is that I chased after the delivery guys as they drove away and they would not stop or answer there cell phones. I went immediately back to the store to explain the situation, they promised to get the template but have not heard from them since.

    Becareful with the installation option, they basically deliver, set the item in place and plug it up. I had to hire an electrician to actually install my microwave

    Earlier today I called Best Buy to ask if they could give me an undated time for the delivery and installation that is scheduled for tomorrow. I just checked my Best Buy account and the delivery/installation still shows that it is happening tomorrow, but I've been told that that is in error. Delivery and installation will happen in late September. Then I receive an email asking me to review the product for 25 points. It just seems a little insensitive to ask me to review the product. I really with that I could. At least I got the 25 points so there's that.

    First of all the installer was supposed to come on Saturday, but I was informed a different installer would come on Thursday and install microwave and dishwasher at same time. He never showed up on Thursday and when I contacted BB, they said I would be his first appointment after noon -- he came at 10:30!!!! He made no apology regarding his no call/no show on Thursday. He had trouble putting in the microwave b/c he failed to remove a bar on the back. He did chip some paint off the walls during installation. On Saturday morning I received a phone call, from another installer, that he was coming to put in the microwave!!!!!! BB needs to get their schedules together.

    The GE microwave is great. The Best Buy installers are incompetent. They had difficulty getting the microwave to fit and tried telling me I needed to contact the tile installer to cut off 1/2" of back splash tile. The real problem was when they switched the exhaust fan position they did not do it properly. Thankfully I noticed this and had them correct it. It fit perfect then. Watch these guys carefully, they are not the best.
