The installation was quick and professional. I would highly recommend Best Buy installation service.

So the installation was good. It was a third party vendor, not the Geek Squad, but the guy was nice and knew exactly what he was doing. He was quick and efficient and handled it all very well. A quick tip you may need a spacer between your cabinet and the microwave which Best Buy didn't ask me about. So it is nice to know in advance and get this beforehand so the installation can be done in one shot!

The delivery was very fast, and pleasant young men did the installation quickly and effectively. That would have merited a five-star rating in normal days. Alas, these days under the pandemic are not normal. Best Buy's website clear shows the company's Geek Squad policies regarding the COVID-19 precautions. They stated that the workers would follow certain protocols such as wiping and cleaning the work areas. The policies also stated that customers would get a call before the delivery in order to go over the safety policies. We never received a call. The installers were wearing masks, which was good, but they did not wipe down the work areas after the installation was done. This was disappointing. Good publicly-displayed policies are meaningless unless executed. Although we were pleased with the fast delivery and efficient installation (at a good price too), we must put Best Buy on notice by reducing this review to a three-star rating due to the lapse in the COVID-19 safety policies.

We purchased this Over-the Range Microwave Oven a little after we moved into a condo. The installation went perfectly well. The delivery and technician folks were very professional and friendly. We have not had a problem since the installation and the microwave works great.

The installers make sure that they follow what Whirlpool requires them to do in attaching the microwave in the wall. They are very friendly to deal with.

I purchased my new Whirlpool microwave online through the Best Buy app. The installation went very well. They kept in touch and let me know when they would arrive. They took care not to leave a mess. Very polite. I am very happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to purchase another appliance from Best Buy.

Total tech for Best Buy is very good. They will install everything & will make sure there are no gaps. Even if you have issues you can call them again. Very happy to see such a smooth installation & care.

The two men who came to install my new microwave knew exactly what they were doing. I watched from my living area as I can see clearly from there. They measured, they installed the bracket and mounted the microwave. They were careful and explained things to me as needed. I was very pleased with the installation and expertise.

We are happy with the operation of this microwave except we can't figure out how to get an end of cooking signal from it. Some of the trim is poorly attached and has sharp edges. OK, this is supposed to be about the installation. It took two visits from a subcontractor ream (two sets of different installers) to get the fan to exhaust into the duct work that vents the fan outside. The first installers told us "that's as good as it gets" or "call Best Buy" when it didn't work. The second team got it just right. They realized that the damper from the microwave wasn't opening into the duct. Also they needed to switch some of the vent covers that convert the unit from recirculating to exhaust. It was an immediate fix, It was frustrating and concerning that we had to have two more people in the house during Covid. The ratings below are difficult to assign because the quality, value and ease of use were all low for the first install, but high for the follow-up by a different team.

Tory and Jason hit it out of the ballpark. They solved and installed our microwave without a hitch! Our busy lives depend that repairs go smoothly. Both of my installers came wearing covid 19 p.p.e. (Masks, Gloves and Boot Covers). Friendly, quick, clean and thorough install. They even installed a new outlet I had in the garage because the installers of my old microwave had tampered with the existing outlet. They removed and hauled away the old microwave. Awesome job guys and many thanks.

I always loved GE products. I realize they're not the same because they're made in a different country. However I still like the GE brand and the oven I got is functioning exactly as I expected. And I have to admit it was a good price
