    Peace of Mind

The owlet dream sock has helped give us peace of mind so we can sleep. Getting the sock on wrong will result in lots of alarms going off but to me it was reassurance that it'll pick up on anything. Once you get a routine down of atraching it properly it's great. The app is pretty helpful in giving sleep cycle feedback. It's interesting to look at but overall we mainly use it for its sleep monitoring function.

The product is amazing and gives my family peace of mind. Set up was easy and the app is great. The app also has some great features like tips for the baby, notifications for the camera based on motion and sound. My only complaint is (rarely) the video has a delay loading and I required me to close the app multiple times to get it to work. By that time I was already in the room. This has happened twice within a three week timeframe. I’m sure with an update to the app, this would be fix.

The Owlet - Cam 2 & Dream Sock Duo is perfect for monitoring your new born/infant. The camera system is outstanding, the app works well on your mobile device (I use the iPhone version), and the entire solution is easy to setup. Now I can be aware of key metrics about my child anywhere at any time. The camera quality is great. You can how you baby is doing from your mobile device and attend to your child at moments notice if necessary, thanks to the Owlet - Cam 2 & Dream Sock Duo. The included sock helps you stay away of important information such as heart rate (displayed in BMP), room temperature, oxygen levels in the room, and movement tracking so you can tell if your baby is moving around a lot, or resting peacefully. Really helping you stay on top of your baby's comfort and needs before they have to utter one cry. Adjust temperature if you observe it has become uncomfortable. Reposition if it appears they are not in a comfortable position. You can know when it's time to change them and more, all from being able to monitor your child on a vivid HD camera with audio capability. The app is very easy to use. The options are intuitive. No issues experienced with the app whatsoever. I believe the Owlet - Cam 2 & Dream Sock Duo is a must have for parent of new borns/infants. It will make your life easier and remove a lot of the guess work involved in keeping your child safe, comfortable, and happy. You can know at all times the status of your child.

This is an amazing product for expectant parents. Monitor your child’s sleep habits and vitals all the way up to 18 months. Think of it like a Fitbit fitness tracker for your infant. The bonus camera works well and adds some peace of mind in addition to using the smart owlet sock. The Owlet app is very intuitive and slick. The user interface is polished and neat. All the information you need and nothing you don’t. I appreciate a purpose-built UI. The build quality is on par with all the other premium smart home cameras I’ve tested over the years. This one should as long or longer than most as it’s not rechargeable (no battery to degrade) and plugs into the wall. The camera captures excellent video and audio and I was really impressed with how well it did with handling low light. The night vision is very crisp and reminds me of the early Sony camcorder days where night mode actually worked very well. Another use for the Owlet system is to remotely monitor infant metrics from the next room that could potentially alert you to a serious problem like SIDS. There are plenty of stories on Reddit and that could save your baby’s life. That’s the real use case for me and the main reason why I use an Owlet system.

The Owlet - Cam 2 & Dream Sock Duo - Mint offers safety and peace-of-mind for any parent for their baby or toddler. Offering high quality camera with both day or night vision, monitoring sock that doesn't disrupt the child but provides immediate feedback on the child's sleeping or waking activities, and an effective, easy-to-use app for monitoring in any room. We found this product to be an absolute must-have for our grandbaby as his nursery is in the basement. We can rest assured that we can be in the kitchen upstairs or watching a movie in our family room, or doing laundry and not have to worry that we can't hear him if he is waking up or if he is in distress. The monitor sends updates and alerts for waking or unusual activity and even distress health monitoring if needed. We can check up on him at anytime, day or night, with the camera and can clearly see what we need to without entering the room to disturb his sleep. PROS - Owlet brand, quality, and innovation - Easy to use - High quality - High definition video - User-friendly app - Safety for baby's and toddlers - Health monitoring - Sock is upgradable to larger size to grow with child CONS - None at this time.

    Great Duo of Security

What can I say, this is just what we needed to give us a sense of security and peace. We've used each device separately in the past, so to use both in duo is just perfect. For what they are and what they provide as well as the quality, they are well worth it. Of course one can argue they aren't necessary, I mean I sure grew up without anything tech attached to my foot and always watching me! But you don't have to feel worried when you're not in the same room as your little one with this sock on his/her foot and with the Cam 2 having eyes on when yours are closed. Quality is great, and for me personally, set up is a breeze. I don't quite know if it's a must have, but it's definitely a nice convenience. As for the data provided by the sock, to be honest I don't know if I trust the values unless they're on the extreme end which is still nice. It's like a smart watch but for your little foot. The app is intuitive and makes sense, but as for making use of the data it provides, I take it loosely. For us, it's more to monitor any extremities to which we wouldn't continue looking at our phone, but go see what's happening live in person.
