We have 7 children and have used other versions of the owlet smart sock in the past. I was excited to see this newer version and updated camera set. Even after several kids, I am still nervous and wonder, is the baby breathing, how are they doing, etc… and this sock and camera duo help alleviate my concerns. Like most things these days there are no printed instructions. Rather you download the mobile app and follow the prompts. First you will set up your account and answer some questions. Be sure to set up your child's profile before you try to connect or pair the sock. After pairing the sock you can then connect the camera. Point and scan the QR code to get the phone connected to the app. From start to finish the set up was around 20 minutes or so. You do get two socks in the pack, one for babies under 12 pounds ,and then the other for babies 12 pounds to 30 pounds. I really appreciate being able to continue to track their data as they grow. The sock will help you track heart rate and blood oxygen levels. Very useful with newborns. The camera has fantastic video, and is good quality. You will also get ambient room temperature which is great to know if the room is getting too cold or too hot for your little one. The new camera offers these updates, get notified when sound, motion, or crying is detected in your baby’s room, watch and save video clips to your personal device, and eliminate guesswork around naptime with Predictive Sleep Technology in the Owlet Dream App. These are very nice upgrades from the previous camera model. With this camera you will be streaming 1080p HD video over your home wifi. You can log in to the app from anywhere. Watch video clips of the baby as well. You get two way communication and 130 degree viewing. Night vision will enhance the image so you can see them in the dark. After using this for a few weeks, I am blown away. Love the video quality and the clips I can go back and watch. I really like the data I get about my baby. We have had many different monitors over the years with all our kids, and Owlet to me is the leader of the pack. Each iteration is better than the last.

You're a new parent and you want to protect your kids with everything in your power. This kit combines the smart sock and the Owlet Cam 2 together in a nice package. I've used other the owlet smart sock before with my first two kids and been very impressed with the features that it offers. It helped calm both my wife and my fears of having a newborn knowing that the o2 levels and breathing were where they were supposed to be. This one is no different. Setup is relatively easy and you get several socks along with the sensor so you can swap them out when needed. I've learned that with owlet you will get the occasional false alert and disconnection alert but it kind of comes with the territory. The Cam 2 is new to me. My wife and I have been thru at least 3 cameras that are camera/base setups that the monitor part normally fails within a year or stops charging or whatever. The Owlet Cam moves all that to our mobile devices so there is no monitor to lug around or replace. This camera offers high quality HD Video and night vision straight to your phone. It's offers a 130 degree wide angle of your baby. It can tell you the temperature and humidity, which unlike other monitors it seems rather accurate, to let you know the room is comfortable. It offers alerts for motion and sound detection as well. This thing is pretty awesome. The Dream app actually guides you to when your babys next nap might go down. All you have to do is log in his/her nap times and it keeps track of when the next nap might happens so you can avoid the cranky baby. My wife and I swear by the owlet products and recommend them to parents who cherish a good nights sleep. The new features on the app just add to the exceptional products offered by Owlet.

Great for first time mothers! Definitely helps settle the nerves, especially at night.

The sock works as it should after we did a 24hr update. The camera still is not working. The owlet support won’t do anything to try to fix it. They said it’s a known problem and that they are suppose to send out an up date next month. Total wast of money.

Grabbed these because I needed and wanted soemthing to watch the kid if I was in another room. The sensor was a big selling point!

This is an amazing product for expectant parents. Monitor your child’s sleep habits and vitals all the way up to 18 months. Think of it like a Fitbit fitness tracker for your infant. The bonus camera works well and adds some peace of mind in addition to using the smart owlet sock. The Owlet app is very intuitive and slick. The user interface is polished and neat. All the information you need and nothing you don’t. I appreciate a purpose-built UI. The build quality is on par with all the other premium smart home cameras I’ve tested over the years. This one should as long or longer than most as it’s not rechargeable (no battery to degrade) and plugs into the wall. The camera captures excellent video and audio and I was really impressed with how well it did with handling low light. The night vision is very crisp and reminds me of the early Sony camcorder days where night mode actually worked very well. Another use for the Owlet system is to remotely monitor infant metrics from the next room that could potentially alert you to a serious problem like SIDS. There are plenty of stories on Reddit and that could save your baby’s life. That’s the real use case for me and the main reason why I use an Owlet system.

The latest version of the Owlet Cam and Sock duo has some amazing features I didn't know I needed. The app can even let you know if your baby is having a hard time getting back to sleep, and will tell you if you need to go comfort her. Additionally, it monitors her heart rate, average oxygen level, movement, wakings, humidity, room temperature, and sleep status. Having all of this on your cell phone, both real-time, and historic data, can allow you to keep an eye on changes in your child, as well as having real data to show your pediatrician if you feel your child is having issues that should be discussed with her doctor. Previously, I had the first generation sock, however, I did not have the camera. I did have a baby monitor, but if wasn't viewable using my phone, so the two just didn't quite pair well. What I mean is that sometimes the sock comes loose or get mispositioned, resulting in the app notifying me that it isn't receiving data. When paired with the camera, I can immediately check on my daughter, and see if there is an issue or not. This is well worth the extra cost if you don't have a network connected baby monitor.

This is a very well put together kit. It includes everything you need to mount the camera and to route and cover the cable. The magnetic base of the camera allows for wall mounting or placing it on the railing of the crib. Syncing the sock and camera is straightforward and only took a couple of minutes. Camera quality is adequate and the live feed in the app has minimal delay. Both the motion and sound detection work well and provide quick notifications. I like the included temperature and humidity readings on the live feed. The sock is easy to fit on your babies foot and the kit includes two different sizes for left and right feet. It tracks motion, body temperature, heart rate and oxygen level. It will send alerts if these parameters fall outside of acceptable zones. Charging the sock is quick and easy using the magnetic dock. The features offered by this pair give you an extra sense of comfort and security for when you can't have a direct eye on your baby. With its event and stat tracking you can also be sure if your baby is getting enough good quality rest.

This product provides peace of mind, plain and simple. One of the areas I am more than willing to make sure I have peace of mind is with my baby. The app is a must have to be able to track quality of sleep, sleep patterns, and how long the baby has slept. So while the sock is doing it’s thing monitoring sleep, heart rate, and oxygen levels, the camera is in the background watching and listening to the baby. If the baby starts to cry then you get alerted, and the sound detection software used is very good at determining whether or not the baby is crying or just making baby noises. One of my biggest concerns was the baby developing a rash from constantly putting on a sock on the same foot, however two right and two left socks are included so I can alternate feet and avoid the issue entirely! This is a different level of baby monitor that I did not see growing up and I think it is a phenomenal tool to assist new parents such as myself in giving me peace of mind, and timing when the baby is highly likely to need a nap based on historical data.

As a concerned parent with a now 2 month old baby girl, my wife and I were looking for a way to monitor our baby girl, mainly while we are sleeping (if we ever get to sleep). Not our first child, but non the less there is still that level or paranoia that comes with being a parent of a newborn. As a result, we now have the Owlet Duo with the Cam 2 and Sleep Sock. I have used the Sleep Sock alone before and it is pretty impressive. But that child aged out of it a long time ago. Let me say that I don’t trust tech when it comes to my daughters. Especially this one that has reflux issues and we constantly battle her not being able to burp or hold down her milk. I say this because I am not going to go downstairs and make dinner while the baby is asleep upstairs, I just won’t but that much burden on a piece of tech and that is for my own well being. But I will use this more than a cam alone and I will tell you why. So from a Parent perspective, the Dream Sock is amazing. To be able to monitor heart rate and oxygen is pretty awesome. Sort of like a smart watch strapped to your baby’s foot. So when you get notified of a disturbance you can react accordingly, whether that be attending to the baby or attempt to monitor trends for the baby’s sleep patterns. Image seeing elevated heart rate or getting a notification for that while you are somewhere you can’t notice it? Pretty smart idea. Do your research, this Dream Sock has won a lot of awards. It’s a really simple idea, and it works well. The Cam 2 is an updated version of the HD cam that came in the previous version of the Duo pack. I did not use the other one, so I don’t know how the difference. I know the Cam 2 Duo is only $40 more than the HD pack, so I figure that is worth the difference. So it works from your phone. It has night vision and the ability to zoom using your phone (I think something like 4X). The night vision works very well and you can see great detail. Also there is a kit to mount the camera if you don’t want it on a night stand. I have not experimented with the predictive sleep technology. Mainly because when my daughter is tired it is obvious. She flails a lot and fights sleep hard, so right now I am getting too many alerts. She has bad colic and some reflux issues, so this particular feature as well as the Sleep Assist prompts are far from accurate for me. That does not mean it will be off for you, it is totally my fussy little monster and I know it. At first I thought this was over the top and I was happy with the cam we already had. But the Sock is the difference maker. The tech in that think is amazing and really helps you be a ease at least a little bit. All in all, I definitely recommend this to anyone with a newborn. I have to say its the best I have used and I have tried four different others, two in a comparable price range. Definitely worth your investment for the safety of your little one.

This is the 4th and newest version of the Owlet sock once again that we’ve had the pleasure of using. They’ve kept all of the great qualities from previous versions with some new enhanced features as well. The biggest difference with this edition is the advanced new Cam 2 which gives some new features such as cry detection and now allowing you to enable video clips when the camera picks up any crying, sounds or movement in the room within the cameras view. I really like the new feature because it allows you to be alerted when your little one is upset or is moving about. And if you don’t happen to be watching the camera at the time, you can now look back at clips if by chance need, be. It’s just really nice to be able to peek in and check on your child even while you’re at work or away for any period of time just for peace of mind. This pack still has the ability to monitor the oxygen saturation or in this version its referred to as "Average 02" over a certain period of time. It still keeps an eye on your baby's heart rate as in other versions. The app gives you sleep movement, duration of your baby's sleep time, number of times they wake up which all contribute to his or her quality of sleep. If you have a smart watch yourself with a sleep tracker, this app is very similar, measuring the 4 stages of sleep awake, light, deep, and rem, they use a range meter from active to peaceful. The app has some pretty cool features that gives you prompts depending on your baby's level of sleep or alertness. If your baby isn't sleeping well, they have a feature called the "sleep assist" which will send you a notification and the base blinks a purplish color and plays music. It also has a guide and tips to help you with sleep patterns and routines so that your baby gets the best sleep possible with the least stress on you. And now pairing this with the Cam 2 features, it just gives you more of a secure feeling knowing exactly what’s going on with your little one. The HD Cam 2 has night vision and temperature sensor so that you can actually see a fairly accurate room temperature in that app as well. It has a two-way capability so that you can hear the room that it's placed in and have the ability to talk to your little from your phone to the camera through the app. It has a 130-degree wide viewing angle with a 4x digital zoom by pinching or spreading on your screen. It does connect through WiFi and the clarity is actually pretty good for what the camera itself is. It also comes with these concealment tracks to hide and also protect the wires from being tampered with by your little one and makes the install much neater rather than having wires hanging all over the place. I’ve said this in my other reviews when it comes to Owlet I'm definitely a fan of the Owlet brand and I would highly recommend this to others for peace of mind with their little ones.

Having a newborn is extremely challenging and it’s becoming easier with technology as time goes on. Our first born is now 21 and we were blessed with our newest just a few months ago having a big reset to our alone and we weren’t sure how different it would be but are starting to reep the benefits of tech. The owlet baby sock is an incredible device that gives us peace of mind when we have our little in bed and that’s the o Lu time we have been using it. The sock monitors some of our babies critical indicators like oxygen and the camera gives us peace of mind should we have any concerns. Not only does this give us peace of mind to go to sleep ourselves, it helps us better understand his sleep schedule and gives us the ability to monitor him from an app. Back 21 years ago all we could get was two way radios that allowed us to hear the baby when they wake up and cry. The sock does so much more and I really consider this a must have for any new parents. It does everything well and we are very pleased and relieved we purchased this. I would suggest that if you worry like me you go get one of these to help keep your heart at ease. Great product!

We are new parents and had heard about these products, and now that we have tried one ourselves, we love it! It helps us with stress and being worried about SIDS. We can go to bed with a peace of mind. Highly recommend this if you are new parents and just want an extra sense of security and less anxiety. This Owlet sock will track wakings, heart rate, oxygen level, sleep quality, and room temperature. App and Set Up – 5/5 It is super easy to set up the camera and sock with the app. The app is intuitive and easy to navigate! Portability -5/5 We took ours to a recent trip in a trip and it did not take much space in the luggage. Worth taking it! Product Quality 5/5 From the well design app to the built quality of the camera and the sock. We are pleased with the package. Camera Quality 5/5 Night vision works great, and camera is high quality on the phone. We haven’t tried the sleep programs but are excited to try it out once we are in the appropriate age range. I am now going to recommend this to friends that are becoming new parents. Its 2022 so we might as well take full advantage of things that help new parents!

Previous Owlet owner here! Started our baby off with the first gen Owlet (sock only) which we absolutely loved. Switched over to second gen with our second baby. Bought this one for our last and this takes the cake! Similar style 'sock' as compared to previous generations however it has multiple touch points on the foot (left and right) that help monitor the baby. Easy on and off when putting on their foot as well. This is the first time we have had an Owlet camera and think it is so cool! Both the sock and monitor connect to app with ease. Took less than five minutes to set up. Very clear video from monitor and good sound quality. We sleep so much better knowing the owlet is on our newborn. We wouldn't be able to function without it! Sock charges very quickly and easily washable once you remove the touch points. The Owlet will alert you if the sock gets knocked off or not reading properly which, again, helps mom and dad sleep at night knowing they are always being monitored. Recommend and Owlet to every new born.

The Owlet Dream Sock Duo is a bit of a mixed bag for me. There are things I like about it and things that would keep me from recommending it. To start, we can talk about what it comes with and features. The combo includes the Owlet Dream Sock and the Owlet Cam 2. The Dream sock includes the smart sock, base station, and 4 sock replacements (2 small and 2 large, one left/right of each size). The camera includes the camera, magnetic mount, and several pieces of plastic conduit to easily keep the power cord out of reach of your baby. Now on to functionality. I'll start with the sock. This is a very interesting product. It goes on your baby's foot while they are sleeping and gives you info on their heart rate, activity level, and blood oxygen level. Blood oxygen is just an average however, and not an instant reading. It takes all this info and tells you if your baby is sleeping, awake, or somewhere in between. It's all very interesting, but overall, not incredibly useful in my experience. It is supposed to use your info over time and do a form of sleep prediction, but mine never really did that. I guess I am not using it enough. Maybe if you use it every time your baby sleeps it would give you more info. But I found that I don't really use it every time. I just use it for the overnight sleeps. On to the camera. It is a fairly nice camera. It is HD, and will give you notifications when there is movement, noise, or even specifically crying. I found that it is actually pretty accurate when determining between noise and crying. While the camera itself wrks great, and has good picture quality, it is missing a few things. First, there is no pan/tilt functionality. You have to manually point it where you want. This isn't a huge deal, especially when your baby is still little, you just point it at the crib and you're done. However, as your baby grows, and even reaches toddler stage, it's nice to be able to move the camera around. The second thing that is missing is the biggest head scratcher to me. That would be a monitor unit. I have no idea why they didn't include a monitor with this set. A baby camera is all but useless to me without a monitor. Getting notifications on my phone is nice and all, but I want a monitor that I can just pick up and turn on, and one that is not dependent on wifi. The biggest issue I have is that if I'm using this as my main baby monitor, I have to leave my phone on all night to be able to hear if my baby cries or not. And as mentioned before, it's dependent on your phone being connected to wifi. If wifi goes down, you no longer have access to your camera feed. So I have found that I just don't trust the Owlet on it's own. I still have an old monitor set up so I have something that is more reliable and dedicated to monitoring my baby. Had they just included a monitor, it would've been so much better. In conclusion, while I find the Owlet Dream Sock and Camera combo and interesting product with some great potential, in practice I feel that they just missed the mark. The sock itself only really provides some interesting info, but really isn't all that useful. And the camera without a dedicated monitor unit is all but useless. I had to use an old monitor for my own peace of mind, which kind of defeats the purpose of having this camera. Hopefully they decide to include a monitor in future iterations, but as this combo stands today, I wouldn't recommend it.

We had the previous owlet models and I was happy to come across this. SIDS is a real thing. It’s horrific and no parent should ever have to experience this, but it sadly happens. This device is one of many things to help prevent that. It definitely added to my paranoia at times, but it also helped keep me from constantly checking on my little one if he were still breathing. Everything is connected with an app. You use this for the monitor and to look at your child’s levels (oxygen, heart rate, sleep quality). I love that I don’t have bulky devices, that it’s just on my phone. I really like that I can pull my phone out and randomly check my child’s oxygen level or heart rate. There have been two occasions we were alerted and I’m so thankful for this device. There’s nothing scarier than when the alarm goes off and you have to run in. I don’t even want to imagine what could’ve happened if I didn’t have this device… Range – The manual and website say 400 feet, but it doesn’t seem like that. Our son’s room (sock) is one room away (where we keep the dock) and sometimes it alerts us that the device is out of range. On nights it does this, it’ll happen maybe 4-5 times and then go a week of normalcy. As I mentioned, we’ve owned previous models of the owlet. It’s great to see that they offer multiple socks. This comes with 4 (2 for right and 2 for left). That’ll help when washing the sock so it stays nice and clean on our little. This isn’t hospital grade, so just keep an open mind. Pros: Camera HD video quality Tracks heart rate Tracks oxygen level Tracks movement Monitors room temp Connected app Multiple socks Cons: Range between sock and dock can be better. Price (look for sales) Some glitches within the app Overall: At the end of the day, you must decide what is best for your family. This device certainly helps monitor your child via the camera and app, but take it with a grain of salt. It takes away from some stress, but can definitely add a little anxiety. You’ll notice you’ll check the app several times to see what your kiddo’s stats are. I recommend this because of what it offers. I’m in favor of most devices to help protect little one’s. It’s very expensive, but it’s better than something I dare not wish to even mutter.

The Owlet Dream Duo comes with a second-generation camera, and a first-generation Dream Sock. The camera kit comes with an USB cable and electric plug adapter. Plastic wire guideway and a Counter Stand for the camera. The stand screws into the surface with the attached screw. The camera swivel base is attached with a strong magnet. The camera will flip into a channel for wall mount, and easily rotate left-right 360 degrees. When the camera is standing up in the base it will also rotate 45 degrees left to right and swivel 360 degrees. The power cord plugs directly into the back of the camera thus allowing for unrestricted movement in the base. After downloading the Owlet Dream app and creating an account you can begin to setup the camera. After verifying your e-mail address follow the instructions in the app to install your camera. You will need a 2,5 GHz connection. You can now use the wire guideway to secure the wiring and keep your baby safe. Return to the home page in the app and begin installing the Sock. The sock and reader come with a charging base that holds the reader magnetically in the proper place for charging. There are 3 additional socks included for babies up to 30 pounds. The type C USB connector comes with an adapter plug also. After completing the connection of the sock reader to the app you can begin relaxing at keep tabs on the child and get emergency updates directly to your smart phone. This system by default hooks to the network on your phone. With-in the app you can change the network. Hooked up and ready to go, what can you get out of the app. 1. You can track the child’s sleep time and how well the sleep was. 2. You can watch secure HD video from anywhere through the app. 3. You can track room temperature, heart rate, how many times. 4. The camera comes with night vision, which self-adjusts allowing for clear viewing of child. 5. Receive sound and crying notifications via the app with video clips. This is my second Owlet Dream Duo, the enhancements over the previous version make this a must have for your piece of mind. I would recommend the Owlet Dream Duo to family and friends.

This is a very fine baby monitor. It does what it says it does. The Dream Sock in addition monitors the baby's heart rate, oxygen levels, and activity continuously. I feel many people will find this a very valuable feature. We have noticed a few minor challenges. The first came with the set-up, which required patience and persistence even with the help of a tech savvy father. The on-line tutorial videos were invaluable in helping us to get everything going. The other challenge is partly technical, and partly philosophical. The Dream Sock will send an alert if it is no longer picking up normal oxygen levels. We found that the sensors can lose contact with baby's foot if there is loosening of the sock or excessive movement. Also, the Bluetooth signal from the sensor can be interrupted by someone walking in between the baby and the phone. The alerts generated by these technical problems are therefore false alarms, which could worsen parents' anxiety levels. Even worse, parents may learn simply to ignore the alerts, thus negating the purpose of having the oxygen monitor in the first place. We will be using this primarily as a remote monitor so that we can see and hear when the baby will need our attention, whereever we are in the house. I appreciate the oxygen monitor as I know it will detect any potentially serious breathing problems. I guess getting a false alarm every now and then is better than having no alarms.

I'm no stranger to Owlet. We got our first Owlet Sock when our first daughter was born. Being new parents, it was a great peace of mind knowing that if anything went wrong, we would know about it and hopefully those extra seconds or minutes would be the difference. That was just over 2 years ago now and we just had our second daughter. I wish things were still the way they were back then but it's getting harder and harder to sell an Owlet sock to anyone with kids now a days. The sock tracks your child's heartrate and O2 levels (an average O2 over 10 minutes which is fine). That's all I signed up for it to do and it would be great if that's all it did like 2 years ago. Sadly, they rebranded and changed a lot of the functionality to become the Dream Sock. Dream Sock tracks the same things, but it focuses more on the quality of your child's sleep and does away completely with the alarms that you could set up if their heartrate or O2 got below or above acceptable ranges. This was always the peace of mind the old sock offered. You could fall asleep knowing if your baby stopped breathing or their heartrate was irregular, you'd know about it immediately. I'm a numbers kind of guy. I like tracking stats. Our first child had hand/foot/mouth one time and we were able to get a good idea that she was sick by looking at her last couple nights heartrates since they were so much higher than her normal sleeping heartrate. So the Dream Sock still offers me something now that I've been a parent for 2 years and am less terrified of them having some serious issues while they sleep. But 2 years ago, I wouldn't have cared two licks about how well my baby was sleeping without all the alarms if anything was seriously wrong. I understand, there was a FTC issue that caused Owlet to stop selling socks in the US for a while and these changes are more than likely to get around the medical device regulations but I do really wish things were back to the way they were. It was a simpler time. That time has passed. Setup of the sock is pretty straight forward. One of the many devices that ask you to connect to the device's own wifi network so you can set it up to connect to your wifi. Then you just plop the sock on the base/charger to pair it and you're off to the races. The sock has always been pretty easy to set up aside from when I turned on encrypted DNS on my router which Owlet did not like. Setting up the camera is just as painful as the first camera. It took me literally an hour just to get the camera to read the QR code that the app spits out and then the pairing failed anyways. After trying for that long, I realized the camera might not love the ultra bright screen that the app forces when reading the QR code so I took a screenshot and showed that to the camera at a lower brightness. It was still finicky but it worked a lot better and the second try actually paired the camera. I wish they'd ditch the QR code thing. It feels like the camera and/or the AI behind it just isn't good enough since I had this same issue with the Owlet Cam 1. Was really hoping they had resolved that for the followup. Usage is alright. Depending on your tolerance for annoyances and depending on how many kids you have with socks. We have the larger pack of socks for our 2 year old so we now have both kids in the app. Nice that we can do that but with multiple kids, things get annoying in the app and the app gets down right clunky. Any notice throws a big full screen alert at you and then proceeds to switch to that child's screen. So if you're viewing one of your kids, and Owlet decides it's time to let you know the other one is sleeping now, that full screen alert switching to that child for whatever reason. No idea why those alerts aren't smaller and less intrusive. They're usually things like "so and so is sleeping" or "so and so is stirring" .. simple things. The app also becomes just plain un-usable sometimes. Like you scroll and the screen moves a tiny bit down and stops and you have to force-quit the app to get any bit of stability back. Since we added the second child, I find myself force-quitting the app multiple times per day because I can tell it's about to get really bogged down and I'd rather not wait for it to figure it's stuff out. Speaking of multiple kids, if you have multiple kids with socks that share a room and you were interested using the camera for both of them in the room, you're SOL. The app forces you to assign a camera to a single child and you can only view that camera when you're viewing that child. This is a non-issue if you have separate rooms for your kids but it's annoying that I can't just have the camera always visible. And on that note, why do my kids both need their own page? Or why isn't there at least an option for an overview page that shows any cameras and socks with vital information on it all in once screen? Give me the little Peaceful/Active guage along with heartrate/O2 and maybe the sleep/wake/deep sleep graph for each of my kids along with any cameras. Make notifications not pull me out of that screen. That would go a long way to fixing the app. I'll cut the rant here. Just some frustrations on using this app for so long and noticing things get more annoying as time goes on. I'm sure I'll think of more annoyances after submitting this review too. The camera quality is pretty good and the ability to actually view clips of certain events is always nice. The mount for the camera is heavy and it's easy to move the camera angle around if you don't have it mounted very high. The best thing they do is also include wall chambers to run the wire through so you don't have a wire hanging off your wall. The little one hasn't gotten to the wire at all because it's protected and stuck to the wall. I love that about the cam. They also give you a decent amount of wire which isn't always the case with some baby monitors I've used. The bottom line is the technology here is great. 2 years ago I couldn't stop screaming from the rooftops to anyone who would listen how much peace of mind the original Owlet Sock 3 gave me. But after coming back as the Dream Sock, the software just isn't all that exciting anymore. The sleep tips are fairly general and without alerts I have a hard time recommending the sock to new parents who are seeking that same peace of mind I got. If you want to track some cool stats about how your child is sleeping with some slight utility for diagnosing some issues with your child and you're looking for a decent camera for the same app? This might be for you. But it's a lot more novelty now than it was before it became the Dream Sock.
