An amazing piece of technology, which works great for monitoring your child's sleep habits. Having so many kids, this is not a huge priority for me, but IU can see that new parents would love the extra peace of mind the sleep sock could provide. I absolutely love this product it gives me peace of mind knowing that my little one is safe and I can check on him. My husband is even able to check the cameras and his vitals through the app while he's at work. This review reflects my experience with and opinion of this product as an actual customer. Our 7 month old has been wearing an owlet since he was brought home from the NICU after 40 days. We only ever had an emergency alert that said “check on baby” one time. We just had a sleep study and found out he has 15 sleep apnea episodes every hour(O2 below 90). We have done our son a disservice the first 6 months of his life by trusting our owlet. Don’t waste money on this. It’s not a medical device, only a gimmick!

I love the owlet dream sock! It has gave me a piece of mind when it comes to my infant! I love that it alerts me as soon as something is wrong! I can sleep better knowing she’s okay! I highly recommend the owlet!

Gave me peace of mind, but I wish it notified me of when she’s awake.

Battery died weeks after warranty ended. Seems to be a common issue online. Customer service will tell you to buy a new one. It kind of works while the battery does work but being borken after 1 year earns 1 star.

I have used one of these for a few weeks and can say that it is nice to be able to see the “data” even if it is suspiciously unreliable and potentially inaccurate. The downside is that it has chronic disconnection issues and will start chiming from the hub and your phone and then proceed to have no way to reconnect or permanently disable the chime. So then you are left to disconnecting the hub unless you want to hear 8 bit hush little baby on repeat for an hour. When you go to support their first suggestion is to turn off other bluetooth devices around it. This may help to some degree but if the idea here is to go full “dumb” everything except the owlet then you have to think their hardware is faulty. Upon another chat with their glitchy support (imagine getting disconnected every time you talk to anyone) they suggest resetting the sensor which in my case did nothing as expected. I have survived 2 other babies without monitoring and while very cool this product is extremely frustrating to use and I can see this company going out of business because their support is not great either.

Blood oxygen reading is a 10 minute average, but it false advertises for “real time”. This would not be sufficient if your baby stops beating or has a bradycardia event.

Owlet has the worst possible customer service on the planet. The product would not connect to our wifi, and they refuse to help out.

The FDA made them pull the old sock for doing pulse ox resdings without being approved.. same thing your apple watch does typical us government wanting more money. Buy the old model and use it.

Could not get it to hook up to the Internet. Had missed the return date By five days and Best Buy was unwilling to do anything for me. Not exchange the item or refund..
