The first 15 minutes of the movie offer some of the best 3D Effects today. The story is pretty good, especially if you're James Franco Fan. I love the story too. It does become a challenge for any Family Guy fan to close their eyes/blink for a moment and NOT hear Meg Griffin's voice. Poor Mila Kunis :-(

I was really excited about this movie, but when I finally got to watch it it never really took off. The story dragged and wasn't that interesting. Luckily it looked really good and that kept my interest.

Oz the Great and Powerful is a really good, entertaining family film. The scenes that make use of the 3D option stand out although I would like to have seen more of them. This will be one that my family I watch together time after time.

The movie was good and visually impressive but i bought it because it was a Disney and thought kids might like it. It was more of a drama aimed at older audiences I believe.

This movie is intended to be the prequel before the classic Wizard of Oz movie. Not too bad, but has some scary moments.

Why some people didn't like this move I will not understand I enjoyed it for what it was a prequel to the Wizard of OZ and I think they did a killer job doing it.

This is a great classic with a new twist and very colorful. It is a timeless movie that you will want to watch over and over again.

Every listing for this movie on this sight says it is in 3D. They aren't all in 3D. The only to get it in 3D is in combination with digital download. It doesn't come in a combo with 3D, blueray disc, and digital download. If you want to watch it without the glasses, fork over more $$$ for the blueray as a separate purchase. Yippie.

I saw Oz the Great and Powerful in 3D and this is better then the old movie with James Franco, Mila Kunis and Joey King

This is a good prequel to the 1939 Wizard of oz. It gives the backstory of the characters in oz from the 1939 film.

This movie was incredibly entertaining. Great for a family movie night. James Franco is so fantastic as the Oz.

If you've seen and love army of darkness, then this is just that, but in OZ.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie, but I really enjoyed it!

Definitely one of the best future classics! The movie is awesome and the witches do a great job.

Did not get a chance to see in theatre. The sound effects were great and the special effects.

It is such a great movie for the family and for anyone who loves the land of Oz.
