Really fun B-movie! Way better than the new Godzilla.

Incredible special effects, but ho-hum plot. Two scientists were annoying and hard to understand. If you have seen a lot of sci-fi, not a lot of surprises. The first time that Mako drifted, however, was well-done and engrossing. The action is good and it looks great.

Glad I bought it. Will definitely be watching again.

Good old fashion sci fi movie with hints of humor.

I wanted to love this movie, but I just couldn't. My 6 year old son loved it. It had lots of action sequences, and what kid doesn't love the idea of giant robots fighting against giant monsters? Cool idea, but is it possible to have so many action sequences and fighting scenes that it actually became boring? Yes. I fell asleep more than once. The main character did a decent job when it didn't feel like he was overacting. I can't get his angry face out of my mind, his nostrils flaring, totally embarrassing to watch. I wish I would have rented this film and not bought it.

I'm not much for sci fi movies but this is great!!

Being a fan of robots and Godzilla I picked up this movie. It's...well...Ok as SiFi pictures go, but just OK. The special effects are good but the characters are under developed and the plot a bit thin.

This movie was a lot better in the big theater environment. However the Blu-ray is still just as fun. The acting is a bit over the top and they walk you through the plot at points. But big monsters fighting big robots! at least your entertained.

I liked the first hour or so of the movie, but after that things went south. I honestly thought the movie was over at one point, but then it went on for another 30+ minutes. It gets even more boring and the fight scenes could of been way cooler.

I had heard about this movie being a disappointment for many who went in with huge expectations. So, I did not watch it with any kind of expectations. If you want to see these huge fights, then it is an okay movie. Otherwise, it is alright.

this movie took me back to my childhood favs - giant robots & monsters! loved the detail that the bluray brought and didn't regret getting it (black friday price made it affordable). this is definitely a 'guilty' pleasure purchase.

This movie is so much better at home in 4K. At the theaters it was so dark but that’s not the case with the 4K. I’ll leave the actual movie critique up to others.
