While they have come out with a sequel this year, the idea is reminiscent of the transformer saga by Michael Bay, only we are wearing the suits and the aliens come from the earth's core. :|

The previews gave the impression it was going to be a suspense sci-fi filled with amazing effects. The plot seemed viable enough, but there wasn't enough of a personal connect with the characters to carry you through.

Great visual effects. Not really my kind of movie, but it was a great demo for my new cd player. Very happy with the performance of the player. I plan on purchasing more HD movies in the future.

This movie is worth a watch just because of the CG. It has some plot holes but it's just something that most movies have these days - so if you can get past it then the movie is fun time with really amazing effects.

An action-filled fund movie with good sci-fi special effects. The story is average, the surprising thing is even my wife liked it, she is not big on sci-fi.

Who doesn't like giant human driven robots fighting giant alien monsters? Don't think too hard about anything you see in the movie, just sit back and let your brain enjoy the monster smashing.

First 3d not bad for post conversion. Overall good not great movie. Story not bad, acting OK, but I love SciFi so Im bias. Overall a fun movie just don't expect a thinker just enjoy the popcorn movie.

Alien invasion of monster controlled kaiju(huge beasts) take on human controlled Jaegers (hunters). Campy rockem sockem ensues with moments of comic relief from scientiss nerds and a kaiju dealer.

I really didn't enjoy this movie very much. It seemed like the movie was on a repeat the same battle scene for 1 1/2 hours. Thank goodness I only paid $10 for it.

great movie but as I mentioned with Jumanji 4K seems to not be offing extras like its predacessor DVD, it appears your only option for special features is bluray

Big robots fight Godzilla. Not terrible.It was engaging, the acting wasn't the worst. Glad I didn't pay full price for the movie or for the disc, but it'll be worth watching a few times.

My husband really likes the movie, because he can watch it without having to think a lot about the storyline or plot. It's a good movie when you just want to watch a movie for entertainment.

why is the trailer in French on Best Buy? Is the Pacific Rim (Blu-ray 3D) (3-D) (Ultraviolet Digital Copy) also in French w subtitles in other languages, maybe even in English?

This delivers just what you expect. Big robots, big battles, big explosions. Turn it up and turn off your brain for awhile. If you are looking for meaning of life stuff, keep looking.

If your into action, alien, destroy the world movies you meaty like this. Pretty much a take off Godzilla, and Transformers. But not a total waste of time.

Movie is just ok. Wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. The disc does what it needs to do. No big frills, but a solid blu-ray copy of an ok movie.

I was expecting a Transformers robot rip off. Instead there was more to the story that I thought. Acting was nothing outstanding, but there was a story line aside from the aliens.

If you like giant monster movies, like Godzilla and King Kong, then you will like Pacific Rim. Full of action and epic fight scenes, what more do you want from a movie like this.

Another save the world from destruction movie. I enjoyed the action scenes and there were plenty of them...but it becomes the same old movie that we've seen time and time again.

Part Godzilla, part Power Rangers (minus the kids in multi-colored uniforms). What it lacks in story it makes up in special effects and some decent action.
