Perhaps it's because the sticker just fell off, but no where on the case for this film did it confirm that an Ultraviolet copy was included. It did include the UV copy, however, and I was very pleased with this purchase. The 3D effects look great in the film, and a decent amount of bonus features are included. Best Buy's price for this film was also very competitive with other retailers I looked up.

A very fun family movie. The visuals and the sound quality were stellar. The low end of the audio really gave great punch to a great story. Pair this with the second film and treat yourself to a great double feature.

Nice 4K transfer...but the sound...the LFE was awesome! Gave my dual subs a work out, especially during the fight scenes. My set up is 7.2, no Atmos, so I cant comment on that. But overall, sound mix was good for me. 4k really brought out the visual sequences, colors and fx.

For those that own 3D TVs, Pacific Rim 3D is a MUST HAVE. I personally have roughly 52 3D movies and this is by far one of my favorites to watch in 3D (i.e., Avatar, Legends of the Guardians, etc.). The clarify is great as the action scenes are unreal. I can't wait to watch the sequel (Pacific Rim 2) in 3D when it comes out on April 7, 2017. I'm sure I will also be purchasing that movie in 3D as well.

This is the perfect Saturday afternoon action movie! If you liked old monster and giant robot movies this is right up your alley. I've watched it about four times now and it just doesn't get old. The picture on this Blu Ray really shines on a good 1080p television. Pair that with a great sound system and you just may enjoy it more at home than at the theater. Crossing my fingers for a Pacific Rim 2!

Saw this movie at the theater and loved the humongous spectacle of noise and violence that it is. Watched it in 3D in my basement home theater, and it was like watching it for the first time. I realize some Tv's process 3D better than others, but I was blown away by my Samsung JS8500 SUHD and this movie!

i was told by a couple of friends and my brother to check this movie out, and boy was i glad that i did. a great story with a couple of awesome twists, this movie certainly gets you pumped from the moment you pop it in. i love giant robots and the godzilla esque type of movie, this certainly fits the bill. and with a sequel on the horizon, it just leaves more to love.

I liked this film when it came out because it was something new and the whole concept was kind of fun, a throw back to the old Giant robot fighting the "bad guys" (much like Godzilla). The acting also was good, which is always a added benefit when dealing with a science fiction film. Great special effects and it has a great setup for a sequel (which turned out to be only ok, but that is for another review)

Pacific Rim is a GREAT action drama about the human race standing up and fighting against aliens (Kaiju as they are referred to) using Jaegers (giant robot machines) piloted by humans. Good performances from Sons Of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba and Rinko Kikuchi as jaeger pilots. Though it didn't do that well at the cinematic box office, a sequel has been greenlit and in the works.

Enjoyed this feature and a must to add to your 4K Blu-ray collection. This is a reference quality feature that will show off your system and if you are lucky enough to gave 3D playback grab the 3D Blu-ray as well. No disappointments here.

Tons of special effects and illustrations. Cool action flick, of course with such a film, nobody is gonna be looking for social value... but is very entertaining. Especially in this age of video games.... super! It's great appeal to me... reminds me of the Godzilla films! I like the idea of all 3 formats included in one pkg: BRay for my movie room, DVD for the game room, and the UV for my backyard!

Pacific Rim is definitely worth a watch. If you like movies about robots, Godzilla, and Transformers then you'll probably really like this movie. The story line is a bit predictable, and shares similarities with other movies of this type genre; but, all in all, it is a very exciting and action packed event that is enjoyable. It was a bit long, but in the end I wasn't left asking for more. If you have a teenage boy this is a great movie to watch together.

This is one of those blu rays that's great for testing out your home theater system. You're probably only going to buy this disc if you're either a 12 year old boy a kick-a** home theater system and money to burn, or a huge Guillermo del Toro fan who enjoys their movies with lots of special effects and over-the-top action. Pacific Rim is a lot of fun to watch though if all you want is a couple hours of total popcorn cinema. MONSTERS VS. ROBOTS!!!!! YAAAYYY!!!!!

This is one of the best monster movies ever made even though the public seemed to think it was a Transformers clone and stayed away. In reality if you liked Godzilla or Rodan, you need to own this movie. The storyline and the FX are top notch, but what really makes this movie is the fact that you'll love the characters. In short if you are a Horror/ Sci Fi fan, this is a film that you need to own

Sets the plot up and gets right to the action in a way that few other movies do. Visually one of the best movies I've ever seen, the attention to detail is impeccable. This isn't a movie you'll watch once and then put on a shelf. I have lost count of how many times I've seen it, mostly watching it with people that have never seen it before. Total thrill ride and special effects eye candy.

I already owned Pacific Rim on blu-ray but decided to upgrade this film to the new 4K release. The 4K makes this film shine and I will be using it as a reference disc to show my friends how incredible a format 4K is. There is a noticable increase in picture detail as well as a wider color palette due to HDR. This is a great film that now has an outstanding picture and amazing sound. I highly recommend it.

If you are a fan of sci-fi movies you will love this. If you like Anime and Magna you will love this movie. This movie was amazingly done you can see the great detail that went into filming it. The robots and monsters look great. This really is a great movie that probably under performed at the box office just because the majority of Americans are not into Giant Mech Robots fighting monsters.

Pacific Rim was one of the best action movies of 2013, if you like giant robots fighting giant monsters, this delivers in spades! I saw this in the theater with my kids, we all loved it. Watching it again on Blu-Ray was just as fun, especially because of all the extras on the Blu-Ray that detail facts behind the world of Pacific Rim and also some very cool stuff about the filming of the movie.

I originally had the blu-ray copy of this and had been waiting to grab a copy of this one as it included Atmos. I finally got to pick this up and am not disappointed with the visuals and added Atmos tracks, it fully surrounds you if you have Atmos setup in your home theater setup. A must have!

As an homage to kaiju and giant robot genres of Japanese filmdom, this is a movie which is really meant to be enjoyed by those who are fans of such movies. In terms of comprehensability and plot/character development, one could liken it to anime; in fact I would describe it as a live-action cartoon. It's a popcorn flick, not intended for movie-snobs who seek deep meaning, but rather for those who just want to be entertained.
