Pacific Rim is already and underrated movie that deserves more credit than it gets. But now that it's in 4k, I had to buy another copy to enjoy the bright, beautiful colors. Probably one of the best movies to watch in 4k UHD format.

When I saw the preview for this movie , I knew I had to own it. Some shows have good scenes in a first look snip-it, but the rest of the movie is a let down. Not so with Pacific Rim. This tittle held my interest from the start of the film to the very end.

As mentioned above, this is a movie that knows what it is and gives you exactly what you came for. If you are in to action scenes with giant robots fighting Godzilla type monsters with a little Guillermo del Toro, Hellboy-esque flair, you'll love the movie.

Double dipped on this title (reluctantly) but shortly after viewing the 4K disc I realized it was worth it. Totally blows away the blu ray version of this film. And the Atmos is a definite upgrade in audio (if you are set up for that).

An exciting film by Guillermo del torro. He's excellent director visionary that made this movie different from other sci fiction flix. Its worth watching and owning!

This is THE movie to use to show off your 4K tv to friends!!! Lol. It looks BEAUTIFUL, especially if u tweak all your settings the right way. I own almost 100 4K movies now and this one is hands down the best looking.

I went into this film not expecting much, but I was greatly surprised! This film is awesome. There is just enough character development and story to balance out the high budget special effects. The 3D is done really well and with fantastic quality!

I recently bought a 4k Tv and player set up and I've been buying movies that show off the format. This movie was absolutely necessary! After seeing it in 4K it was totally worth the purchase. Bonus: great movie as well!!

Del Toro is a dreamer. He's a visionary. If you give him a pile of money to make enormous robots fight enormous monsters at the end of civilization, he will work to make Pacific Rim a movie that makes you feel all the enormousness

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my dad and he is going to love it. He is a big Kaiju film fan and he is really going to enjoy this film on Bluray. A must have!

The special effects are second to none. Simply amazing. This movie could have been great, but the plot/ acting leaves much to be desired.unfortunately the end product did not live up to the hype and overall high expectations people believed in this movie.

If you like monster and action movies, with a little bit of robots mixed in, you will no doubt like this. There are a lot of special effects. The story (ideas) seem to be taken from Japanese/Anime stories. The plot is so so, as is the acting. Overall, a good "sit back and watch the action" movie.

Amazing movie! Hard to not enjoy giant robots fighting giant monsters in 4k with amazing visual effects throughout the movie

OK sci fi movie. I was entertained but had to watch it in a dark room to be able to see half of what was going on. Its very dark and its difficult to see what's going on at times. If you're looking for a Transformers level movie you will be dissapointed. If you take it for what it is you will enjoy it.

Huge fan of this movie, obviously. Combines a great mixture of sci fi and fantasy while also being somewhat realistic especially for that little kid inside you. Visually great and a variety of entertaining actors.

Good Atmos track, some great 4K scenes! One of my favorite movies ever gold the remastered it!

The movie was fantastic! I'm really excited for the sequel now. My little boy, age 7, loves robots and monsters, and this was the best of both worlds. Picture and sound were great. Can't go wrong with this movie!

This movie is a must for Sci-Fi, anime, Godzilla and Mecha Robot enthusiast. Non stop action from the very beginning. I didn't see this movie a the theaters and I am regretting I didn't. Can't wait to see the sequel that is currently in the works!

I just purchased an OLED LG TV and decided that I can't watch just cable TV on it. So i got a 4k player and bought this movie, which was filmed in 4k. It was incredible to see the vibrant colors and crisp picture.

When I first saw the previews for the movie I thought it looked a bit cheesy but my youngest son saw it in the theater and liked it. So when it came out on dvd I mainly bought it for him but watched it with my family and was really entertained!! If you like action movies its definitely worth a view.
