The scenes with the robots fighting the alien monsters are awesome. There are tons of bonus features that explore how these robots and creatures were designed. The plot and acting aren't the best but Del Torro's visuals are top notch. I got more enjoyment out of the features than the movie itself.

The movie is great, with regular and memorable actions sequences, excellent effects, and a decent story. The DVD itself comes with all the special features you come to expect from big budget movies, so you definitely get the value you expect.

For my money it's films like this that are the very reason to own a 4k blu-ray player. An already gorgeous film now looks even more incredible. Well worth owning if you want a disc to show off your new player to friends with.

The 4K HD just unreal the movie is amazing not your Godzilla v’s Mechagodzilla We as humans control the Jaegers, to fight the battle between aliens and humanity. Just a a great flix. Can’t wait till part two

If you are a fan of this movie it is stunning in 4k.. It made my new tv pop and look amazing.. 31 bucks is pretty steep for about a 5 year old movie but if u wanna experience everything your tv can do this is the movie

This was a movie I was very iffy on before seeing but glad I saw it. If you are into the whole world being destroyed by huge monsters and humanity fighting back, then you will love it. The 3D was extremely well done in this movie and looked better than most of the other 3D movies I have seen.

Was told by an Best Buy employee this was a great movie to watch in 3D. Took his advice and sure was. I enjoyed right from the start lots of 3D effects. Looked like a bit of Transformers, Godzilla, King Kong and Real Steal all in one. Great movie.

Is this a great movie? No. However, it does have awesome looking robots beating the tar out of awesome looking giant monsters. So, it is totally worth watching. Director Guillermo del Torro does it again, (although it does not have a great story like Pan's Labyrinth or Devil's Backbone).

This movie looks great in 4k, definitely adds a lot with the HDR. This movie was watched on an Xbox one S console with an oled LG television. Very good darks throughout, and with the HDR effect on the colors are fantastic.

Awesome movie for the SciFi action enthusiast. Action from beginning to end with this fantastic movie. Sci-fi lovers should and must watch this film.

Found this film to be surprisingly enjoyable, with great special effects and a nice balance between serious action and comedic relief. It is also one of the better 3D films we've seen, even though the 3D version is not a necessary purchase.

Item came up and Blu-ray/DVD with ultraviolet(shame) digital copy. Did not have DVD and because it was opened (and the last copy in the store), could not return it. Unfortunate as it was a GIFT! Great movie, bad luck.

I was thinking this was going to be like any godzilla vs kaiju movie. I like the robots and they make a great replacement for the overused godzilla. The plot is like any kaiju movie, kaiju, kill kaiju but it is not boring. I like the director's use of real scenes instead of over use of bad CG.

If you are a fan of the old Godzilla vs. movies, or the Japanese giant robot shows, you will love this. Just good old-fashioned robot vs monster fun. Great special effects and a great cast. How can any movie be bad when Ron Perlman is in it.

The visuals in this movie are incredible. It's worth getting the 4k Blu-Ray just to gawk at its beauty. The acting is often over-the-top and the characters are closer to caricatures, but the movie is enjoyable enough if you go in with tempered expectations.

This movie really sets the standar for a cinematographic piece of art. The movie is great to watch if you have a home theater system to add the sound as the movie really come to when the sound is on par with the picture.

If you want to see what 4K can really look like, pop this disk in. The detail, colors, and black levels are incredible. Every drop of water and explosion just pops with vibrant colors and realism.

I love Pacific Rim so much! The picture quality in 4K is so heavenly! Aspect Ratio is either 1.78:1 or 1.85:1 means it will pretty much cover the entire screen of ur 16x9 TV! Get this 4K if u love Pacific Rim!

Pacific Rim is the type of movie to just see for the great action. It's self-aware of what it is, it doesn't try to be anything else. It's giant monsters vs. robots for crying out loud, what's not to love?

From the Academy Award winning director that brought you The Shape of Water, Pacific Rim is a great action flick that's even better in 3D. This film is really enjoyable if you just sit back and don't think about how unrealistic the plot really is.
