I thought this was an original idea with an old twist. Monsters invading Earth, but instead of coming from outer space - they come from under our oceans through wormholes. Great idea.

This disk has all it takes to demo the UHD along with Atmos sound. A complete immersion. Again must haves if your are an HT guy/gal.

If you are looking for an Oscar winner this is not it. If you are looking for classic sci-fi robot vs. giant monster action then don't pass it up.

Highly entertaining...FAR surpasses the lousy sequel - don't waste money on the sequel - stick with this original!

This is a fun ride that treats the crazy subject matter with utmost seriousness - to great effect. Great transfer to 4K yields a stunning picture.

This movie is just a popcorn movie, the story is not great, the acting is so-so, the special effects are reasonably well done, and the 3D effect earns a passing grade. The only reason I purchased this is because I had read several reviews which stated this film has a very good audio track. I bought this to see how it would sound in my home theater. This Blu-ray features a seven channel DTS HD master audio track, and also has a considerable amount of low frequency content that will give your subwoofers a workout.

Really fun film. Didn't get a chance to see this in the theater. So I watched it for the first time on my tv with surround sound and it was fantastic

This film took me back to my childhood of good times. The action and special effects are awesome. 4k alone speaks for itself

If you can, buy the 3D version. Most underrated movie of that summer. Was a lot of fun. Amazing visuals and 3D experience is one of the best.

I only buy movies I like. This was one of them. There was plenty of action and imagination. Blue ray not only looks good it sounds better too.

Can't wait for the next installment in this franchise. In general if you have a 4k capable tv and player it's worth the extra 4-5$.

Awesome throwback to the glory days of godzilla, ultraman, mazzinger ect.... highly recommended on 4k

Pacific Rim is, as you might expect, a visual extravaganza brimming with lush colors, state-of-the-art CGI effects and the promised robots on monsters hard-core fights to the death.

great price, one of my favorite movies, cannot wait for the next one. Best Buy always has a good selection, and great customer service

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Great to see giant robots stomping aliens. The special effects are worth watching alone. Story is decent but the focus is the fighting as it should be!

Pacific Rim 4k HDR excellent reference quality disc transfer. If you have a 4k HDR tv this movie should be in your collection!
