What a great sequel to the first Pacific Rim! I need to buy the first one now!

This is a great movie of young heroes fighting to protect earth from the bad guys.

Reference quality 4k blu ray disc. This is the one to show off for movie night.

Not as good as the first, but still a good bit of fun. The 3d is immersive but not among the best the format has to offer. The movie is very detailed and colorful and looks great in any of the offered formats. The Atmos track is excellent with lots of surround activity and some effective overhead use. This is definitely the best package to get as far as bang for the buck goes. It comes with a standard bluray, 3d bluray, and 4k uhd disc. There’s also a digital copy code. I would rate this a 3.5 Movie, with 5 Star pq/aq.

I think if you like the Power Rangers you may like this series, but otherwise they are not up to the standard of action movies we are used to, like Avengers quality.

Movie was more enjoyable the 2nd viewing. First was at the theater. I watched this in 4K and it looks great and sounds incredible. Recommended for home theater reference.

The sequel to the first Pacific Rim is set 10 years in the future and follows the son of one of the heroes that sealed the rift. While much of the world has begun to recover we start in an area mostly ignored. He gets into trouble and meets a girl that has built her own little mech using scavenged technology, which is illegal. Spared to join the pilot program, the two work to become better pilots even as a new pilot from the aliens begins once more. If you liked the first movie, you'll likely enjoy this one as well.

4K is the way to go with this movie. The surround sound was outstanding also.
