I don’t know what happened with the production of this movie. Everything could be better.

Not as good as original but big robots fighting monsters is always entertaining.

If you enjoyed the first Pacific Rim you will most likely think this one is ok. The storyline isn't as fresh and the action isn't as nice as the original. I am glad they made the sequel, I just wish it elevated the series instead of just riding the coattails of the original. I did like it, but as most sequels go it did not raise the bar.

the action is good and the acting is ok. Great if you like to see big things destroy things

Great, fun flick, but probably a rental. Not worth owning but awesome picture quality.

After the first Pacific Rim I was expecting the next one to have the same characters. Even though it didn't, it was still a good movie. It was aimed for the younger crowd(Teens) in my opinion but was worth the buy. Boyega does a good job for where his character is placed in the narrative and of course the kaiju look freakin gorgeous in 4k!

It was OK, but not as good as the first. A little more backstory would have been nice.

Three categories of movie, sometimes over-lapping. Good movie. Fun movie. Bad movie. This is a fun movie. Acting is OK, story is silly ... but if you want to watch giant robots fight giant monsters, it is ridiculously fun! The first one was better, but this is an enjoyable movie if you enjoy giant robots fighting giant monsters.

I liked the original "Pacific Rim" movie, but the 2nd "Pacific Rim Uprising" adds to the first. You get a surprise as you see the scene where the scientist from the 1st movie "Newt" arrives at his home, talking to his ""girlfirend"" and then you see the large Kaju Brain he sits down and casually connects with using the old drift rig from the 1st movie. He is a real NEWT....like the small animal type in that his mind seems completely linked to the aliens from the breach. DEFINITELY WORK GETTING...ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE FIRST "Pacific Rim" movie.

I enjoy all sorts of movies!! I don’t care much for The Who fanatical “the movie should be like this and like that and like this and all” just because some movies are a remake. What I am saying is “ If I want to watch a movie, I want to watch what I am watching and not what was watched many many decades ago” What I do criticize is when movies skim out on quality and give you a crappy 3rd party looking product. Anyhow.... I ENJOYED THIS MOVIE !! ;-)

I really loved the first Pacific Rim movie. The sequel was OK but not as good as the original. One of the original two leads didn't make it into the sequel and the female lead lost her life not long into the movie. That was too bad. Put it is good as a popcorn flick. Audio and video quality are excellent in the 4K version.

Pacific Rim Uprising is a great sequel to the 2013 original. Obviously the SFX has been updated, as well as, the Jaeger technology. I appreciated, though, the focus on the characters in the story and their interactions. I was glad to see the return of Burn Gorman as Gottlieb, Charlie Day as Newt, and Rinko Kikuchi as Mako.

Alot of action in the movie and it good to see all the different action seen.

It doesn't have as much charm as the original but it's still entertaining.

Good action but story was kind of flat in comparison to the first movie.

My expectations were not high. Entertaining. Glade I waited for release.

I would wait until this movie is available at $5.00 or less before buying.
