If you have time to kill, enjoy a simple storyline, like giant machines bashing unauthorized alien monsters from a hostile species while traveling in a long non-stop international flight? This movie is for you.

First of all, it was great to see a domestic release in 3D again! It's about time! So far I've watched the movie twice, once in 4k and once in 3D. Just enough humor to go alone with all of the action and great effects. While I never saw the original, I was able to follow the plot fairly easily. Oh yeah, the 3D was great on this movie and I hope to see more domestic releases in 3D.

I enjoyed this movie. Didn't see it in the theater but I loved the 1st one, couldn't do much worse. A couple twist plots got me like, wow! If you like giant mechs and monsters, you can't go wrong with this movie.

Whats more to say other than its got huge monsters, huge robots, big guns and bad one liners.....If you are looking for Oscar performances look elsewhere but this movie is for pure entertainment and destruction!

The special effects are good, and the story line could have been a little better. If there is a third movie it should put to rest the chance of any more attacks and end a good short run. Still a good follow-up.

I was a huge fan of the first movie and still am. Although, this sequel didn't quite grab me like the first Pacific Rim, it was a solid movie with a great casts. Definitely better than what I expected it to be!

The acting was not as good as the original. The movie was a little slow to start and the actress that played the lead was not convincing as a robot programming geek. Plenty of action. Movie was terrific in 3D.

Well worth the discount price when it first released. Excellent special effects and continued the original storyline. I personally liked the first movie and found this sequel to be just as good as the 1st one.

I bought this movie for my husband because he enjoyed the first Pacific Rim movie. He said this one was better than the first because it was action packed. Based on his review I would recommend this movie.

This is a serviceable action movie but the true draw here is having both 3D and 4K in the same package. While 3D is on the wane, it's nice to be able to have the option of the higher resolution or the 3D.

There's enough new meat here to make it a fun experience. All that made the original what is was is back and we're introduced to some new recruits. Visuals are top notch as before and the 4K is a real treat.

Not as good as the original, but still a really good movie. The 4k picture is outstanding on this one, maybe even better than the original!

This is a good, fun science fiction movie. No one will accuse the writers of making this overly complex or high minded, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Added to my collection for enjoyment now and later.

So, you're not gonna find a particularly good story here, but you will get some fantastic action scenes out of this, and the 4K version of this looks pretty excellent if you're into that sort of thing.

Pacific Rim Uprising, is the sequel to Pacific Rim, Pacific Rim 2 is a fun movie with great visuals, the villain is cool, the first movie is better, but the second one is definitely worth a watch. 8/10

Not as good as the first film. Not exactly sure if I could recommend this movie but once again visually it was stunning. A little disappointed was expecting a lot more I would say rent before buy.

If you liked the first one then you will like this one. It brings back the cast and adds some new faces. I loved the first movie and I really liked this one as well, hopefully they will make another.

They upped the CGI in this sequel. If you are into giant mechs, then this is the movie for you. The storyline is what you would expect from a typical sequel but I would still add it to my collection.

Lots of Sci-fi action from the start to the end. Nothing to out of control so your children can not watch. It is a popcorn type movie for a family that is into Sci-fi action and a good time together.

The movie is not bad, definitely not better than the original but it's worth a buy. 4k is great and seeing jaegers fight kaijus is always amazing.
