Though the first one was a bit deeper..this film holds up good.. great CGI..lots of action.. great looking 3D! Recommend!

This episode completed the current series of Pacific Rim ownership for me. I purchase all newly released movies and games from Best Buy because they are always in Stock and cheaper than all other stores!

Hard to top the first one and this sequel does not quite do that. Still worth watching though, if you loved the original.

I really enjoyed both this movie success the original, Pacific Rim. I thought Uprising was a much better movie then the original and it was well worth the money to be able to get the DVD, Blu-ray and digital copy.

Graphics ad fight scenes are great. The main character is an acquired taste. I felt that casting could have done better.

not as good as first one. continues story of pacific rim in a bit of lackluster story. effects and cgi are great though

Not a bad sequel and their are some ties to the actors in the 1st movie, too bad the didn't have more popular actors.

My wife loves these loud movies that I normally don't get into but it was our movie night and her pick. Honestly~ this was pretty good. The cast was fun and the story line easily followed. Even the noise and the fighting scenes were great.

This a solid sequel and it ties into the first movie well. It also stands on it's own well. Its entertaining and fun.

The first "Pacific Rim" was a fun romp of destruction and this one follows suit with more heroes, more villains, and more destruction. This isn't some Oscar-winning story movie, but pure destruction spectacle and I was not disappointed

I thought it was actually better than the first movie, which I very rarely find that to happen. Great acting, full of action and big set pieces which I really enjoyed as eye candy. lots of mechs smashing everything what's not to like there.

This sequel has several of the original characters and updates the technology in the screenplay and the movie itself.
