They cheapened the sides, top, & bottom but at least they're still metal. Have to rethink Panasonic brand I guess.

The salesman pointed out some instructions printed on the inside under the door. We do baked potatoes a lot so we later tried to follow those instructions. It didn't work. We also miss the 30 second feature on our old microwave. You could push it once or as many tomes as you needed for additional cooking time. It was a one-step process. The new microwave we bought has no similar 0ne-step button. You have to do 2 steps, first push 1 minute, then push start. And I haven't figured out any way to get more than one minute except to keep repeating one minute and start, then do it again. Am definitely not happy with this microwave. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because it's not totally broken - it does function at a minimal level.

Posted .Thank you for providing feedback on your experience with the microwave oven. When cooking a potato make sure that you pierce each potato 6 times around the surface with a fork. Also ensure that the potatoes are placed near the edge of the turntable and not in the center. -AM
