I purchased this microwave about 2 months ago and so far no compoaints. We don't actually *cook* meal with a microwave: we used it for heating up, mainly. It's surprisingly light weight compare to the previous one. But I still don't understand this sensor cooking option though.

This one replaced a Kenmore Elite,that had been repaired at least twice over a 5 year period, It finally gave out. The Panasonic operates quieter,door opening is much smoother.,controls are simple. We have used it for only two weeks only time will tell about durability. So far a good value for price paid, highly recommend.

I have gotten spoiled with an over-the-stove microwave, but when it stopped working mid-cycle I learned how much I rely on a microwave oven for day-to-day living! Dug up an old one from the basement, but, yep, that worked for about a day. Until I get my over-the-stove microwave repaired, this is a perfect solution and I have no complaints!

Works well, So far, so good. Directions easy to follow. I have not used the sensor cooking completely. When I have used it, the sensor seems to work well.

It is powerful and stylish. I used the Panasonic microwave for 20 years, it never broke except the plastic door handle. It was so tough. So I trust Panasonic. I strongly recommend.

Worked pretty well for 3 years, then died this week.

I thought Panasonic was a dependable brand and the product had good reviews. The price for features seemed like a good deal. By week #4, the turntable stopped rotating. We called the Panasonic number and took it to the nearest Panasonic authorized repair shop. We were told it was an "easy fix", and after nearly 2 weeks we still don't have a microwave because Panasonic has not shipped them the part. COMPLETELY UNSATISFACTORY! POOR QUALITY and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE by Panasonic.

I purchased this after much research. My previous LG broke after 18 months so I wanted a microwave that lasts. I returned this to the store after 20 days. I heated up some country ham in it one day (for 30 seconds!) and it smelled like country ham for days. I cleaned it top to bottom with 3 different kinds of cleansers then resorted to bleach. It continued to smell. I had noticed it with other foods I heated up (it would smell like chicken soup for a day or two) but the country ham put it over the top! The other food sometimes tasted like the previously heated up food. Also, the sensor reheat (which was a main feature I wanted) never really worked correctly. It either over heated or under heated the food. I knew about the light not coming on when you opened the door but I didn't think that would be a problem. It was really an annoyance! I didn't realize how much I missed having a light. I am off to research more to find a better microwave!

This microwave was highly recommended by Consumers Reports… maybe I got a lemon. It has a one year warranty. Mine stopped working after less than three years of use.

Microwave is powerful and worked amazing. Lasted 10 years before work. Still works just the insides are falling apart

This microwave has worked well since I purchased it. Cooks fast without burning food. My only complaint is that you can not program the defrost cycle by time, only by weight of food.

I know they don't make things like they used to but come on! 2 years after purchase I have to go and buy another microwave..

Don't buy a Panasonic just for the fact that their warranty support is horrible. If you don't live near a service repair shop that is associate with them, then you have to drive it or pay for shipping. They offer no support for that sort of thing. And then you have to pay the repair up front. Get the Geek Squad Warranty if you really want this microwave. Otherwise, find a different brand.

This was purchased to replace the same model which was 5 years old. The size was smaller. The change in the control panel is taking some time to relearn. Not sure why its predecessor stopped working but it could not be fixed either. So this microwave is basically "disposable". If it breaks out of warranty, I could not find anyone able to repair it....

Exactly what I wanted. 1200 WATTS is perfect and the "Inverter" works great. No adding time or additional heating required.

so far it works great. stuff comes out really hot, but our old microwave was 20 years old, so maybe it just seems powerful in comparison. like the look too.

I like it. This microwave replaced a 15 year old one that we had. I am impressed so far. It takes up a lot less counter space and seems efficient.

It's not as flashy as some models but works fine so far. I had a Panasonic microwave previously and it lasted around 20 years so hopefully this one will last.
