The 1200 watts gives this unit the power to cook almost any thing . You need to be aware the power rating (1/10) you choose for your dish is even more important to heed for a lot of microwave dishes are rated for units 1000/1100 watts.

Very good microwave, heats in half the time as my old one

Overall have been satisfied, we had just purchased another Brand. After having it for 13 years we went with the same brand we had had that long. Well, needless to say, the other brand was not built as well as the last one. it lasted 14 months and dies. Read all the reviews for the Panasonic and decieded to try this. Havent had it that long, but so far so good.

I bought this to replace another microwave. After some research, this one moved to the top of the list. Setup is easy. I like the inverter technology versus a 'duty cycle' way of cooking at less than 100% power. So far, the Sensor Reheat works very well. It was a good value for the price.

This microwave looks nice, and is a good value for the money. Kind of has a little buzzing noise when it runs, but I guess that doesn't affect performance. I like the inversion feature, and things seem to cook evenly. My only complaint is that the light is only on when the microwave is running, and I would prefer to have the light on when the door is open as well.

I purchased this microwave as a replacement for an 1100 watt model. While this model does not have significantly more wattage, only 100 or 150 more, it cooks food very efficiently. I use it mostly to steam frozen vegetables and reheat leftovers, but this microwave completes both of these tasks quickly, and the food is heated evenly throughout.

Very easy to clean the interior easy to operate with the one touch button which heat things up in 1 minute increments. The inverter heating is a great idea and Panasonic is the leader in making microwaves for years. A solid product

It is a very good mid size microwave. The dual wave system makes a real difference in cook time and almost eliminated the infamous "hot spot". The only complaint is lack of features. The auto cook menus are limited and listed inside the door, rather than on the control panel. Over all it is a very good value.
