I bought this to replace a not so great GE microwave which had a turntable that stopped turning. I had previous bought the larger Panasonic (very similar model) for my parents and it stands up to very heavy use (multiple times per day), so I was pleased when I brought this home and saw that it was very similar: stainless steel, heavy duty glass turntable, similar layout and buttons and high wattage. Hopefully it will hold up as well as the other Panasonic but so far I am very pleased. Just be careful because this microwave heats VERY quickly and it is easy to overheat foods or drinks on high power.

easy and simple to use, small size, but large enough for family

This is an awesome microwave. Don't listen to the other reviews that say it doesn't have a light when you open the door because it is completely unnecessary! It has an invertor so your food will cook all the way through, no cold spots. Example, heating those boxed frozen meals their may be a piece of meat that wasn't heated throughly, this will not happen with this microwave!

It has been a long time since we purchased a microwave oven. I was amazed by what we could get in features for such a low price. This oven does everything we could ask for. Heating is thorough and even. It is a terrific replacement for our failed "over the hood" model.

This microwave is holding up well as a back up in a commercial kitchen. It gets fairly heavy use especially on weekends. Controls are easy to use, clock and timer are accurate and power levels are consistent. Unit has all the bells and whistles needed for any normal application.

A replacement microwave was needed by my daughter in college in another town. I checked on the Best Buy website. There were several options. This was on a open box special and had good reviews. It shipped quickly and arrived in a couple days. It has plenty of power to more than just heat up leftovers and make popcorn. The features make it easy to use and make meals quickly.

Purchased as a gift. They love it. Very easy to use and looks super sleek.

Im happy with my new microwave, is easy to use, warms up food in less time and the look is great, easy to clean, and doesn't have light on when you leave the door open wish I like that so save energy.

We have had this microwave over a month now and it works wonderfully. Heating is even, operation is quiet and the build is solid. The only thing we would like is for it to have more "Quick" buttons...such as a button to heat hot water, etc. Popcorn is the only one it has.

Cooks/heats extremely fast! This microwave is more powerful than my previous one. Where I would reheat something on half power for 3.5 minutes, I can use the power setting of 30 and heat it for 1 minute with the Panasonic and it will come out piping hot. No complaints on this microwave.

Bought this microwave to replace a huge Panasonic Convection/Microwave I had for years. Very compact,powerful, and attractive. I didn't know how much space I really had in my kitchen.! It reheats very quickly and cooks frozen veggies very well. I was a able to get the best price at Best Buy and the sales manager was very helpful.

We didn't want a huge microwave taking up all of our counter space and this is perfect. It's plenty big for everything we need to reheat/defrost. Has sensor reheat and I can just push the buttons for the time I need instead if having to press time cook first like a lot of microwaves do now.

I bought this microwave for elderly cousins because it has a very clear and easy to use control panels. At 88 and 92 the sisters want a simple and legible user interface and this is great. And by the way, it heats food as well as any small countertop unit.

Panasonic Inverter 1200 watt microwave does everything it's advertised to do. Cooks fast and evenly. Just because the light doesn't come on when you open the door is not a negative. Light is on when you cook. Only thing I don't like is the door does not close quietly and easily. You need to give it a push. This was cited by others, but it's not that big of a deal.

Purchased this microwave after a 3 month old Magic Chef died. Bought at the recommendation of a store representative who vouched for the quality of Panasonic. So far, so good. Only complaint is that it is a bit louder when running than previous products.
