The new microwave is much faster and smaller than the one it replaced. The former "Caloric" microwave still works fine but takes up much more counter space. She never cooks with the microwave, just used for heating and defrosting.

This microwave is worth every penny that you pay for it. It comes with above standard size and power while boasting a much more affordable price tag than comparable units. It's another quality item from Panasonic. The only down side to this microwave is they stuck with the traditional straight plug rather than the more convenient 90 degree angle plug.

If you look at most microwave ovens they seem to be the same. The quality can be unseen. That is the case with this product. It is simple to use and heats food evenly. Very pleased.

I like the easy operation of the unit. There is a handy chart on the inside of the door to refer to for suggested cooking times. It has a sleek design.

My last microwave was a full size Panasonic which lasted over ten years. That said this microwave should last hopefully as long. Rated at 1200 watts it definitely reheats or defrost food quickly and evenly. Only cons I have with this model- noisy when operating and the interior light is lit only when it is reheating and turns off when done or when the door is open. If you are looking for mid size microwave definitely consider this model.

Purchased this microwave after looking online and reading reviews. This microwave works great and was a good value. I like being able to examine the different microwaves and purchase on the spot. Best Buy had a good selection.

This microwave delivers a lot of bang for the buck. I like how it looks - easy to keep clean - and how the instrument panel operates. It's pretty quiet too. A really good buy.

needed a new microwave after our 18 yr old Panasonic gave up the ghost. the 1200 watts surpasses the previous 1000 watt model, and it really shows in quicker, more even cooking. very satisfied! exhaust fan seems better as well.

I had form this one earlier than returned it thinking I just needed something cheaper. Well that cheap product took forever to cook anything. I returned it quickly and repurchased this microwave and have not looked back. It works great and cooks quickly. Only downside is that isn't a light when the door opens.

My wife and I are very pleased with the performance of this appliance. Our only complaint is we wish the light would come on when we open the door.

Definitely does any job a microwave should do.. At 1200 watts it's higher power than I'm used to, so I've had to use some adjustments. It's efficient and heats well. I would certainly buy it again.

After I exploded my 17 year old Panasonic, which had always given me great service, I figured that I would purchased another Panasonic. My goodness, what a difference. It cooks in 1/3 the time. New technology is good sometimes.

Door works well with the button used to open it. Good power and good size interior. We only had this microwave for a few weeks but are happy with our choice so far. Purchased based on reviews.

Needed a smaller microwave to fit in on a cabinet shelf that held our old microwave and this one was just the right size. It does a great job defrosting and reheating food and the stainless steel looks wonderful.

This 1200w microwave purchased for the office does what you'd expect - heats/cooks items quickly and easily. We almost didn't buy the unit because the demo models on the shelf had doors which were hard to open/close without some effort. The Best Buy person nearby shrugged her shoulders and said that's normal. Since we're fans of the mid-range Panasonics (both my colleague and I have them at home), we decided to go with it (turned out that the door opened easily and closed quietly without having to slam it).

it is a good microwave. it is lacking some of the various push button features on the higher cost ovens but it works great. Fast cooking and the turntable plate is perfect for most dinner plates.
