I got this to replace an older model of the same microwave. I wanted to stay with Panasonic for the Inverter technology - makes for easy defrosting, which I do a lot of! It is working perfectly to date. The big difference between this model and my older one is that the older one had a push button on the handle to open the door. This one does not have a handle...only the push to open button under the control panel. I saw the reviews that said they had trouble with that mechanism, so here's hoping that Panasonic has improved the design and I won't have issues with it down the road.

This microwave performs all the standard functions associated with devices of its kind and appears to be a sturdy unit. However, it's somewhat ugly, it's a lot louder than other microwaves I've owned, and you can't use the timer while the microwave is in use (unlike my previous microwave). I'm hoping that the device is at least durable given the price, as my last microwave only lasted about five years before the button that opens the microwave door began to have serious problems. The framework on this door seems steady so I hope it will outlast my previous unit, which is all I can really hope for when buying a microwave.

I bought this microwave to replace my old one and there's no comparison- Everything I cook comes out perfectly in it!

This is my third Panasonic microwave in about a 10 year span. The first two lasted about 3 to 4 years until the door latch failed and prevented the microwave from starting. Despite this problem, I really like the quick and even heating of my food. I am not sure if it is the inverter technology or the rotating carousel inside the oven, but the food heats very evenly. This is also evident when I defrost food straight out of the freezer. Many microwaves do not defrost evenly and the outside edges of the frozen item sometimes starts to cook. This Panasonic microwave does a nice job of defrosting the entire item very evenly. So if you want a microwave that heats and defrosts well but may not last for more than a few years, this item would be for you.

We purchased this one mainly because of it's size. So far no issues with the microwave but it is mainly used to reheat.

I purchased a Panasonic Microwave 15 years ago and it was very reliable. When it broke last month, I decided to purchase another Panasonic brand. Since I didn't use all the features on my old Panasonic Microwave, I downsized and purchased a smaller unit. When pressing the buttons to program the new microwave, it has a tendency to move around the counter. Also, the light bulb inside the microwave only goes on when it is running. It would be nice if the light came on when the microwave door is opened. The fan is also noisy when the unit is running..

It is perfect for being in medium spaces. It is basic but does everything you would want in a microwave to do.

I bought this microwave because it was a floor model and the price was right. So far so good. Works great and is big enough to handle bigger food items.

My old microwave was still working after years of long use but only produced approx. 850 or less power. It was on it's last leg and saved as backup, if necessary. I needed a certain physical size to fit my kitchen space too and this unit is both smaller in size and larger turn-wheel inside. I'm still learning how to utilize all the possible functions this Panasonic unit provides, but I am extremely satisfied for all my cooking: I rarely use my oven or countertop for cooking, since both use so much electricity and heat up the entire room (it is smaller than most).

The microwave exit port is low so it can heat one cup of water very well. It is louder than my old sharp microwave.

This microwave is great for the value. I like the space inside of its compartment and my food is well tempered. My only complaint is when opening the door of the microwave the light does not come on. This is the first microwave I've had where that doesn't happen. Maybe it is an energy saver, but I prefer the light.

I really like this microwave. I have a built in cabinet & it just fits. It heats up so much faster than my last one , which was about 30 years old

I found it extremely easy to use, and had all the right tools to really make a great meal for my Family.

Easy to use and has sufficient power to do one-person dinner such as pot pies. Also adequate for instant cereal and re-heating cold coffee or tea.

It is good for the budget. But there is no light when you open the door. I believe this to be an error from the manufacturer, or software error. This has to be fixed, for Panasonic to be able to sell more than enought.Otherwise, every other thing os okay

The Panasonic 1.2 Cu. Ft. Mid-Size Microwave is an excellent powerful 1200 watt microwave. I did a lot of research to find one that is powerful & not too expensive. Plus it has the sensor technology. I would 100% recommend it. I give it 5 Stars.

The sensor reheat works accurately, and the inverting defrosting and heating is great and worth the money compared to the budget models.

Excellent price for a very solid microwave. Powerful and convenient pre programmed options to boot.

This microwave has been great so far. The only minor drawback is that the display can be hard to read.

Bought this to replace a different microwave that didn't last... So far this one is doing fine and is easy to wipe down. Gets used every day.
