This microwave was purchased as a gift for my mom. We were looking for a mid size microwave with high power and a good feature set. We were also replacing a smaller Panasonic that my mom had had many years and liked. She is very happy with the new microwave,

I did not do much research into the microwaves before this purchase but knew I wanted something with at least 1000W of power. This microwave satisfies that constraint, I just wish I didn't have to go to the price level it was at to obtain that wattage desired. Overall though, not as expensive as some of its counterparts and so far has been a great addition. No complaints on performance. Will mention that being new, the standard times on most food for heating needs to be cut down by a little bit with this microwave. Most of my 2 minute applications can be cooked in 1.5.

Compared to a GE we had that failed, let's just say they both heat things up. The GE had an interior light that lit when you opened the door, a visual and intermittent audible reminder when the cycle was complete until the food was removed. The Panasonic does none of that. Should you forget that you were heating something, it would remain the the darkened unit until you next wanted to use it, By then it may be cold, spoiled or worse. We needed a microwave of a specific size and wattage in a hurry. The Panasonic fit the bill.

We purchased this microwave due to the size and brand. The microwave heats up quickly however the plastic lining over the buttons were already wearing off after less than 2 months and has occurred on multiple buttons. There is no option to turn off the turntable. To turn down the power, you have to press the power button repeatedly before you set the time and once set, it cannot be changed unless you reset the timer. If you are looking for a larger basic microwave, this product works but is missing some features.

After shopping for several weeks and all the major stores, we narrowed the field down to the Panasonic. I have not been disappointed. It looks nice. It is easy to use and read the front panel and works great. I would recommend to my friends. It is a good value too.

We had a similar Panasonic Microwave unit, howeer, no longer useable--our faullt. Wanted one that fit in our cupboard space.This fit the bill, right brand, and great features. Very happy on this purchase.

I give this microwave good marks for ease of use and its size. Plenty of short cut buttons for popcorn, warming up food, defrosting, etc. It also doesn't take up a lot of countertop space. I don't like that it's noisy and seems to take more time to cook than any other 1100 watt microwave I've ever owned. I'm constantly hitting the "quick 30" button to finish cooking my food.

This microwave does not have a light when the door is opened, and when something is cooking, the mesh in the door panel prevents any kind of checking on the food, even though the light is on. It does its job adequately, but it's loud, and somehow it seems cheaply made. I use it every day, and it does its job, but I don't think I would buy it again.

We've had this microwave for a few months now. Works well most of the time. We have noticed some fluctuation in power over time. Biggest issue is something isn't quite done and needs another minute or so. NBD. Would be nice if it had the option to silence the beep when it's finished, but it's not terribly loud or annoying - just used to that option on our previous model.

Needed for my older mother, had to have a turntable and be easy to use. This one certainly fits the bill for her to heat up prepared meals.

I haven't used this microwave all that much. But when I did use it, it has worked flawlessly. It fits a full size dinner plate, and cleaned up easy. This microwave isn't loud, it sounds just like every other microwave out there. It's very easy to use, and has a timer function that I have used while cooking on the stove. Overall, I would recommend to friends.

This is great considering the price! However, I did not realize that a light would not come on when opened. (Only while cooking). Just kind of a nuisance in low light like early morning.

Not much else I can say other than this was the perfect microwave to fit my needs & was not disappointing in its features and performance.

This countertop microwave is a great product considering the price. It is easy to use and satisfactorily performs the task.

We bought this microwave because the one we had stopped working. It does all the things the previous microwave did, but has more power to do them faster. Also, it was on sale at the time, so we got a great deal

I upgraded from a smaller microwave so I'm just excited to be able to fit a normal sized plate in it. Also, the beeping for when the timer is done is much softer and less annoying than a typical beep.

Operation of the microwave was relatively easy to figure out, since it was similar to our old one. We had to adjust our settings because this microwave was more powerful, 1100 watts vs 900 watts. Overall this Panasonic microwave meets our expectations for ease of use and overall quality of the appliance.

The door open button is difficult to push. I miss the light inside when I open the door.
