I wouldn't leave the store with one even if it was a gift! I gave it one star because an overall rating required at least one! The product doesn't deserve that high a rating!

This microwave isLong lasting and dependable. My family wore it out but it did the job for the past 7 years. Money well spent.

I have had 2 of this model microwave ovens in the past 3 years. Both ovens failed. I sent emails to Panasonic on their website regarding the situation. The unit was still in the warranty period. They never responded to my emails. I let it go because I don't use the oven that much and while it only heated on Level 10, I felt I could put up with it. However, now the unit does not work at all, and I have passed the warranty period by a few months. I spoke with an agent, established a case #, and was assured that a supervisor would get back to me. I never heard back from them. I pursued it and Panasonic has stated unequivocally that they will not replace the product. I would like to add that their automated customer service system makes it extremely difficult to reach a real person. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to navigate their phone system. I found that the only way you can speak with someone is to request "Sales." You will get through, and they will then transfer you to customer service. I will not purchase their products in the future. They do not respond to emails or follow through on telephone call backs.

Purchased this for our apartment and it is the perfect size for small counters. I like this product brand I have a bigger one for the house.

This microwave takes a lot longer to heat a plate of food than my last microwave.

1.3 cu.ft. is a nice size on the counter and the interior size is good for most average microwaving activities. Black print on white buttons is easy to read, with nice bright display. It's also very quiet (so far) compared to our old one. On both my previous Panasonic and this one, the sensor cook feature is nice, but I'm constantly having to run it in the "less" mode, otherwise it gets everything screeching hot. The mega-annoying thing that others here have noted is that the unit does have an interior lamp, but it only comes on when the unit is running. Then you can attempt to watch through the window with pointless artsy graphics in the way. Why the light does not come on when you open the door, I have no idea except to try and drive users to a better model. It probably saved them $0.10 in circuitry. In summary, a decent box that heats food, at a reasonable price point.

I always trust Panasonic they make great products. It works as it should and has tons of features

Microwave works fine. Heats things up quickly. Great price for 1100 watts.

The overall quality of this product is inferior. I assumed since it was a Panasonic that it would be good quality. It is not. I am disappointed in the flimsy construction of this microwave and will not buy another Panasonic product.
