I have owned this microwave for just under a year and have been very pleased with the purchase. It has plenty of power for a mid sized microwave. It has a good appearance. The light inside only works when you are heating something, not when the door is opened. I would purchase this product again. Still working well almost a year after the initial purchase.

Bought this initially because it was one of the few decent sized mics that fit our existing cabinets, and it looked good. We've actually been impressed with its power and features. Overall a really good little microwave if you're limited on space and want a more "full featured" unit.

I am not a huge lover of microwave cooking but like everyone else, I use it as a time saver. Most of the time it is to defrost or re-heat food that has been cooked previously. This microwave seems to be working very well. I run the power at the 8 setting. I feel I don't need more than that for what I use it to heat. It has a large carousel plate, great, the more I can load. The more the merrier. The only thing I wish it had was an interior light that comes on after the timer has stopped the unit and I open the door. The light is only lit while the oven is operating? Still, a bargain unit made by a well known manufacturer..

Good size, handles most of the large dishes in the cupboard. Easy controls to use. Three of us in the house have used it regularly with no issues. Still working great.

This is a spacious and convenient appliance. It runs quietly and provides ample space to cook large dishes efficiently. No cold spots or inconsistent heat-ups.

This microwave oven is so quiet you can hardly hear it. Temperature choices are great. Easy to clean and looks real nice with my other kitchen appliances.

I needed a mid-Size microwave to fit into a previously designed cabinet space, so choice of many others was limited. This model is easy to operate and has sufficient power to perform most tasks. It's lines are simple and clean. So far I have no complaints, but it has been used for just one month. The only significant drawbacks that others have noted as well are: 1) the absence of an internal light when the door is open. This may be a problem for cleaning, but not an issue in a well lighted room. 2) It is a bit noisy. Also not a problem if it is in an enclosed cabinet where it is not audible.

nice countertop microwave except a couple of things. 1. the inside light doesn't come on when opening the door,only when cooking. 2. when the food is done the clock comes back on(doesnt say done then stay there until the door is opened),I lost my coffee cup inside quite a few times.If you think ,no big deal..just wait until it happens to you. The food done bell is nice with low-med dings (not the annoying sound blast that others I have had)

Our old microwave began smelling like burnt rubber after 12 years. Tossed it and looked online at BestBuy for one to replace it. I liked all the features of this Panasonic 1.3 cu. ft. mid size microwave. The black and steel color looks nice on my microwave cart. I like the power feature that allows you to choose the level of power. I also like there's no handle on the door as it makes it look much sleeker and cooler than my old dead one. We bought it online and it was ready for my hubby to pick up that day. We've had it for about 3 days now and I'm familiar with all the bells and whistles on it. For this 70 plus senior new gadgets are always a challenge to learn how to use, but the book that came with it was very clear with nice pictures how to operate it. A quick read and I was ready to try it for the first time and the food I reheated came out perfectly without being over heated or dried out thanks to the power level choices. I made tacos one night and taco shells are always a challenge to get warm without ruining the edges of them or having them stick together. I put 8 shells in, the soft corn shells, wrapped in a paper towe on a platel, put the power level on 7 and heated them for 2 minutes. They came out perfect, didn't stick together and remained hot in a taco shell container as my hubby and I ate our dinner. I heated broccoli with cheese one night for our veggie and they came out perfectly too. I tried heating corn on the cobb in a microwave safe bowl with a little water in it and the corn came out perfect too. Chicken Thighs reheated came out nice and warm and no cold spots or overly dried ends. This is a very nice microwave that meets all my wants for a machine. The one that died didn't have power choices at all. I really like that feature on this new microwave since some foods need less power than just high. I have found that the food doesn't splatter and make a mess when you can choose the power level which is an extra bonus for me if you can't cover the food with a microwave safe cover which I do have and use when needed. This is a great microwave at a very reasonable price and I really liked that I could order it online, then just go to the BestBuy store and pick it up without having to wait in line. As I said, I'm a 70 plus senior and don't want to waste time walking around a store, looking for what I want, then wrestling a big box in a cart , going through a line and finally paying for something. Online shopping is so much easier and I've learned how to navigate the internet to do my shopping so much easier and BestBuy's online ordering is easy. I did need a little help from an online chat representitive to complete my order and he ( his name was David) was very nice and helpful and answered all my questions. I've bought many BestBuy appliances over the years but online makes it so easy. Don't hesitate to purchase this microwave. You won't be disappointed. It is a very nice machine for reheating your food and cooking it too.

Good size microwave, does the job. the stainless steel and black contrast nicely. The only thing that is strange is that the light does not turn on when it is opened like most microwaves, but it is on when its cooking (the only thing keeping this microwave from a full 5 stars).

Controls are positioned in a logical, familiar arrangement and are easy to use. Fully functioned unit offers a good value for its price.

I ordered this to supply a microwave for the new house. It is easy to use, works well, and looks good. It was also well packaged and arrived pretty quickly. All in all, I am satisfied with its performance. Also, It doesnt feel cheap and the button to open it doesn't stick. I also like that you can just press the buttons for the time that you want instead of having to hit a specific input time button or turn a dial or do some other form of annoying time wasting step. You just press 1-3-0 start for a minute 30. Exactly how it should be. I have been using it more and more, and it heats food quickly and evenly. I have had to adjust my microwave intuition (setting it for how much your food really needs) because it gets hot pretty quickly. Again, satisfied and would recommend!

I love this microwave. Easy to use and has many programs if you want to use them. It has a good level of power and heats things quickly.

This unit has all the features we need in a microwave oven at a very attractive price. Unit is exceptionally quiet in operation.

No problem with this microwave's operation. The 30-second button doesn't start the microwave, which was not the case with our previous machine. But the bigger issue (and it isn't that big) is that the light doesn't go on when the door is open, only while operating.

This microwave looks great in my kitchen. Perfect size and nice power. The 4 star rating instead of 5 is because my old one had a light in it that turned on when you opened the door. This one does not. I really liked that feature.

i bought this microwave for my parents, its a very powerful microwave. good for the price, great size, and nice sleek look.

Just got the microwave oven a few months ago. I had been using a 1984 micro wave and found that this was a larger oven inside, smaller out side and lighter than my old oven. I now have more counter space. It is easy to use.

easy to use, fairly quiet, very nice microwave. I don't have any issues with it.

Easy to use. High power and cook fast and even. No light unless it is started.
