We felt it actually did a better job than the current Jenn-Air

It makes less noise than the old one, and heats food faster. The only negative thing is the "keyboard": 1) it is very dark and hard to read if you have it on the counter top, and 2) the "buttons" have to be pressed in just the right place, especially the start and stop buttons. Sometimes I have to press them 3-4 times to get it right.

Unfortunately when the timers is in use, you can't cook in this microwave at the same time. It is either the timer or cooking. I am missing so much my very old basic Panasonic, that was able to run those two functions at the same time ... do we call this progress? You have to use some strength to close the door and it makes a pretty loud clunky noise when closing. I guess inexpensive microwaves do that now. My old Panasonic was so smooth and quiet ..... broke after 22 years of use.

This microwave is a good size and don't cost to much. Heats up food really well. Would definitely recommend this one to others.
