I had 3 appliances go near the same time. So it was a matter of function and price. I miss the automatic 1 thru 6 min. cycle and the space on the countertop. Also, when it is installed higher, you can view the options without having to stoop down.

Also the beeps when the cycle is finished are fine - not too loud and they DO stop after you open the door of hit "cancel." There are no "quick" buttons (ie: hitting "1" on the number pad doesn't start one minute of cook time immediately - you still do have to hit "star")

Great Microwave for a great price.

We wanted something smaller, but not too small. This size point was perfect. Saved a bunch of room on the counter where this replaced the old one. This microwave also heats things more evenly and comes packed with different presets for cooking. For once the "Popcorn" setting actually cooks popcorn with burning a bag of it.

When cooking a meal you cannot preset the time and then wait till you need to start it for timing with the rest of the meal because it will time out and reset itself to the clock mode requiring you to set it again. It heats/cooks well. The alarm is a little lethargic.

It's a microwave; nothing more, nothing less

It warms my cold coffee, but doesn't make it a latte. It heats my frozen dinner, but it is still a frozen dinner. It does what it supposed to do. Only concern is that the door opening button is starting to stick.

It works perfectly fine though. Does take a little bit longer to cook then my old one but all microwaves are not the same.
