Lighting Issue and Turntable Groaning

When bought I didn't realize there would be no interior light except when the unit is running. The interior light does not come on when the door is opened. I wish I'd returned it immediately for this reason alone. Now the turntable is making a groaning sound. Does not pop popcorn well no matter what brand or whether using the preset or setting it according to the time range of the popcorn bag--and yes I set the time for the right size bag. The popcorn is always unevenly popped with apparently hotspots causing burning even at least time recommended or LESS. Waste of money and a big disappointment.

Good value, powerful microwave

Only negative comment is that the construction of the chassis is on the thin side and the door mechanism is harder to push open for a weaker or elderly person. Overall a good product.
