Hard to control and out of control

I may find it annoying or frustrating, but usually that's it. But I hate this microwave. First, it usually either cooks the outside while leaving the inside cool, or outright burns the food. That makes it important to control its power--but the power controls are ridiculous. Instead of "Press power control button, press level," it's "Press power button repeatedly," which means cooking something for three minutes and the lowest power requires 14 button presses. And it doesn't actually cook at lowest power: it cooks at full power and just turns power on and off. That's like saying blowtorching for 10 seconds is lower power than blowtorching for 60 seconds. Cooking for 15 seconds at 50% does exactly the same thing as cooking for 15 seconds at 100%. I really regret this purchase.

I purchased it in December 2019 and it worked ok for a while then here is what happens. When it cooks food, frozen, it actually burns the outer area of all the food and leaved the inside cool and sometimes cold. The outside is good. the buttons work well, the visual is good but the defect is making this unusable. So, I did find a repair location and it is under warranty for a year so off it goes for repair. If I had to do it over, I wouldn't do it. This is a good brand and I am surprised. Hopefully all will be ok after repair.
