Decent budget microwave with some flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This unit does a decent job cooking, has a clear, easy to read display, plenty of power, and a good size interior. Some features will serve as constant reminder that this is a low budget appliance. For example, the interior light is so dim you can barely see what is cooking-- I'm not sure why they even included an interior light, seriously! If you like to monitor the food you are cooking, you may want to skip this unit. Also, inexplicably, the interior light only comes on when the door is closed and the unit is cooking. Unless you are in a very bright kitchen, you will need a flashlight to clean the oven if something spills inside. There are no one-touch controls like many other microwaves I'm used to. Every operation requires at least two different buttons. No big deal, but why not have, say, an "add 30 sec" with one press? The construction quality is not great. My unit came with a small dimple in the stainless steel door frame, and the door itself is slightly misaligned, with no means to realign it.
