This thing is so powerful you really have to watch the cook times. I cooked a frozen chicken pot pie with my old microwave and it was like the box said 10 minutes. With this powerful beast it takes 7 minutes. I burnt the first one. I would have preferred a handle on the door to open it.

Easy to read display and heats up quickly. Only slightly annoying thing is if you cancel the timer so it doesn’t go off, the microwave still makes a noise. I don’t know if this can be turned off or not.

I've purchased all my electronics from Best Buy so, when my old microwave died, I headed straight to BB. I found their selection to be quite large and found a great deal on the perfect replacement. It turned out to be a floor model (with full warranty) and that dropped the price of the great deal even lower. If you're in the market for a new appliance, add Best Buy to your list.

Thanks to the reviews I found on this website, I gave this microwave a try. It works as expected yet much quieter than most other options. If you use the reduced power feature, be sure to read the owner's manual. The operation is just a bit different from other manufacturers.

Bought this model because it was almost the exact model Panasonic, The Genius, 1250 watt 1.6 cu feet that we had since 2006. Got great satisfaction using it all these years. When we opened the box it was a 1 - 3 inches shorter in all three outside dimensions from our old one. The inside cooking area is 1.3 cubic feet NOT 1.6 cubic feet as the product description. We were initially shocked, but the wife tested the size of the bowls and plates that she uses to cook, and they all fit, but with a little less room than the original model. BEST BUY checkout this info and change the product info to the correct cubic feet.

Large enough for a frozen dinner. Glad to use it instead of heating up the oven, then waiting for it to cook.

Replace worn out kenmore. This is a very nice microwave. With nice features. Definitely recommend

The microwave works wonderfully. I was impressed with the size of the interior, especially the depth. Has many useful features, such as a popcorn button and even a coffee button. Very quiet, too! You get a lot for the reasonable price.

We had a Panasonic microwave for 36 and 1/2 years before having to get this one. We are very happy with it, it’s a little different than the one before but we are learning to use it more. I hope this one will last as long as our old one.

This microwave is easy to handle and very efficient. It is not super powerful but very good for the value.

More powerful than previous microwave so have to be careful not to overcook. Some of the default settings, e.g., bacon, tend to overcook.

Needed a new microwave for our breakroom. After review several models we chose this Panasonic model because it got great reviews and it is very easy for anyone to operate. It has a nice modern look and looks great sitting on the counter.

We had to replace our 1300W 1.2 cu.ft. version of this microwave that finally died after 13 years. So far it works great! No noticeable power difference and the inversion/preprogrammed buttons work perfectly. We knew 1.6 cu.ft. would be larger, however we didn’t realize it would be shorter (can no longer fit a 20 oz drinking glass) but wider and longer. We read the dimensions and measured but didn’t fully appreciate how significant that height difference was. Here’s hoping it’s another microwave that’ll last another decade.

powerful microwave,only thing is trying to get the glass plate to fit ,it can be a pain

I got this counter top microwave specifically because it has automatic reheat and automatic cook. Guessing correct times is not that easy. This does it for you. It's larger than my last one, but it looks sleek and modern, so the size isn't so noticeable. Has turntable and light.

What a great microwave for a great price. It is quite a bit shorter than my previous Panasonic but even my tallest coffee mugs fit fine. As advertised...there are NO cold spots in our food. Even my husband was amazed at this. The best microwave we have ever purchased.

Very fast shipping from Best Buy. 5 stars for their service. Panasonic microwave is only decent. It advertises new features but does no better than the 20 year old Tappan microwave that it replaced. So, so much for the new highly touted features. It probably does do better than some of the cheaper ones on the market now that constantly cycle between low and high speed as its cooking but 20 year old machine didn't cycle up and down either. Cooks the same as my old one, no better, no faster, no slower and no hotter.so I guess it's ok. The door closing sound is rather weak and hollow sounding that doesn't inspire confidence in the construction. I don't know about long term reliability but I'm betting it won't make 20 years like my old Tappan. I would;d buy again but only at about a $30.00 cheaper price.

I purchased it to replace a broken hamilton beach micro. This Panasonic is solid, great quality just as I remember from the old VCR era! It looks clean and fancy, It also works amazing, warms up fast and even. I recommend it.

It works well, but it takes up a lot of counter space. Also, the interior light could be brighter.
