Love the invertor and the overall performance. The number pad is definitely cheaper construction then earlier models and will probably be unrecognizable in a year or two.

The control panel is covered with a removable protective film to prevent scratches during shipping. Small bubbles may appear under this film, if this is the case, remove the protective film by applying masking or clear tape to an exposed corner and pull gently. -M

Great for the Price

Seems to heat things at a nice even temperature and appears to be good solid quality that will last. Only time will tell, however, if it will hold up as well as the previous microwave from Sharp that lasted over 18 years. Still, even at 2019 prices it was quite a bit cheaper than the previous microwave.....

Good but dark inside.

So far the only negative is how dark the interior is. Our last microwave was white inside and lit up really well. This one is very dim and hard to see what's happening during use and even when the door is open.

It will take up most of your counter with only a few inches to spare. I like that when you lower the power it actually lowers the output rather than just cycling on and off the way most units do. It has a very large capacity inside, larger than any we have had before. It’s easy to use and it earned good reviews in the two major rating systems, including CU and wirecutter. It did get delayed in arriving and the message from Best Buy was cryptic and not very informative. It did eventually arrive, though.
