That microwave was highly rated in a consumer magazine. I was able to get it in an open box and save some money. It is more complex than my old one, but it also works better. Heats well for reheating, although sometimes with a bit more power than suggested, and cooks well for my uses. So far, it's great.

Love this microwave. I purchased this because consumer reports ranked it very high. I was looking for a higher wattage microwave and this one does not disappoint when it comes to very fast reheating time.

Well designed unit. Control panel is clear and easy to operate. Heats evenly and has plenty of room to handle larger items. Two possible improvements would be beefier turntable ring and it could be a little quieter when running.

no problems, performs as promised, would be better if I did not have to tap power every time before setting time but it is a minor flaw, how long will it last?

Great unit. This replaces a panasonic microwave we had for 20 years that still worked but the door latch finally broke. this one has all the same controls and was highly recommended by a leading consumer magazine. we like it so far and would recommend it to anyone.

This is a decent microwave, not top of the line, but adequate. The interior light, however, is considerably less than adequate. It's so dim there might as well not even be a light.

!st DOA, it worked 10 secs stopped, used presets & it worked 20 secs & didn't heat. 2nd unit is okay so far. More powerful than avg microwave so cut your times in half to be safe. Prev Panasonic w/ inverter tech & 1250 watts cooked fresh broccoli 50% power in 4 mins NOW 50% power about 2 mins to cook. We like that it cooks food 50% faster than old microwave. Haven't used defrost but all reviews we read stated it doesn't cook food when defrosting, which is why I paid more for the cyclonic technology. Fingers crossed this lasts at least 10 years like last Panasonic. Note compare to previous Panasonic this is shorter, deeper, & wider; i.e. it doesn't match footprint on countertop like previous unit.

It serves it's purpose very well. The thaw feature is great when I forget to take something out of the freezer for dinner. I have to watch what's being thawed out carefully so it doesn't start "cooking" but still learning how to use it.

Operates as expected. Interior height is a bit lacking. A 12 oz beer mig will fit but not a 16 oz mug. I heat tea, not beer.

The wide range of cooking settings are easy to read and use. Heats evenly and efficiently. We wanted a model that would heat serving bowls of food, as well as a single cup of coffee. We are very happy with this model.

I really like this microwave. It cooks even, the controls work well and the door is smooth. The only down side I have found is the fan is more noisy than usual when cooking.

Display is really hard to read so i would not recommend this microwave if you are not looking at it from eye level. The picture of the green display is very misleading.its going back to Best Buy for something else...

Already reviewed once! Item was recommended by CR and Best Buy was the only store that had it! So far it seems to be all we expected, works well.
