I've had this microwave for under 6 months. It has already stopped working

Turntable stopped working within one year of purchase. Will not buy another Panasonic microwave again.

Did not have it for a full year and the heating element goes out.

Stopped working after 2 weeks. No power. Very disappointed.

This is my first Inverter Microwave. I had a previous Panasonic, that quit after 14 years. So did my research and an inverter is what I needed for even heating. The best piece other than the inverter, is the sensor technology. Just put in your food, heat Sensor Reheat and the Microwave and press Start. The microwave figures out cook time automatically - it does this by sensing steam off food. Otherwise the dial lets you set time, just rotate, set to desired time and press Start. It has the usual Popcorn, Quick minute, Defrost buttons. The microwave heats food evenly, never had anything underheated and its large, never had to heat something in portions - it can all go in at once. Microwave is a little heavy, at 43 lbs, probably because of 2.2 cu ft size and inverter. It works and looks great in stainless steel finish. Highly recommend this as a new or replacement microwave.

A replacement for a 2.2 ft Panasonic. This is better in that there are no touch sensitive buttons. This unit performs as advertised -- has great power, is easy to clean, and the buttons are just that . . . BUTTONS that you can push which is an improvement from the previous model. This unit is large enough for most dishes, cooks evenly, and does what I want it to do -- PERIOD!!

I really like this microwave. My wife has her opinions on its size. It is a big unit and does take up a larger footprint that our previous Kennmore. But after our 3 year old cooked his own popcorn and it melted the inside of the other one, we had to buy one. I really like the dial a time feature. And because my wife likes square plates, this one can actually spin the entire plate without it getting stuck. To give you an idea on size, I fit a 16lb turkey in it (just to keep it warm) for Christmas. I think it is also very quiet. The first day we used it it was a littlet noisy, but for some reason that went away. Its cooking ability is even and so far everyhting heats well without hot spots. If you have the space, this is a great microwave. If not, go for the smaller model

I read reviews that mentioned the door problem with this model. So I called Panasonic--twice, just to be sure--and was told each time that as long as you get a unit that was produced June 2013 or later, the problem has been fixed. The date appears on a sticker you can see when you open the door. I was prepared to bring the unit back to Best Buy if the date was too early, but our unit has a production date of October 2015. So it seems Best Buy is selling newer stuff, not picking up old units somewhere out there in the marketplace. That said: Have just started using it, and it works as described by the positive reviewers: easy to use, does what it should...and looks great.

I returned 3 of then cause they kept breaking down! Awful product!!!

This model is very easy to use. Has many great features. Some commented that they did not like the dial for set time. I think it is very easy to use, and quick to set. It has plenty of power, for quick results. The defrost settings are very good. Very even heat. I did buy the extended warrenty, but so far after two months, have had no problems. Very happy I purchased this unit.

This is a nice, large microwave that heats well and evenly. The dial is remarkably easy to use, and I definitely prefer it over a number pad. However, the microwave stopped working after 5 months (error code indicated a problem with the microwave generation unit). I was able to take it back to Best Buy under the manufacturer warranty and they replaced it. The instruction from Samsung (via Best Buy) was to replace it and not repair it. Because of the knob/dial function for the time, I would continue to buy this product.

Nicely designed,easy to use even for my technically challenged girlfriend.Has alot of features that I haven't even used yet.So far performs great and I'm very happy with this product.

I really like this microwave because it's the first one I have ever had that doesn't start and stop depending on what power it is set to. You can set the power level when cooking and this unit delivers that power at a constant level for the duration of the cooking cycle which is a cool feature. It is a powerful device and I have "nuked" a few items by keeping them in the microwave too long or cooking them at too high of a power setting but overall it is a handsome and functional unit that I would definitely recommend highly.

This one is IT! It is huge inside. The rotary time knob takes some getting used to but the rest of it is just like any other electronic gadget, it just takes getting used to. The thing that is RADICALLY different about this microwave is that there are no longer cold spots, or burnt spots in food. It cooks uniformly and keeps food warm if you forget about it for a bit or have other things going on. And the Stainless Steel looks great next to the fridge! We haven't had one issue or problem with this microwave and we LOVE it!

This microwave replaced another Panasonic model in white. I'm not fond of stainless steel as it shows every finger print. The size works well on the counter. The heating is dispersed much better than my previous model. The tier element is now metal and probably not fall apart or discolar as did my prior model. So far, I'm very happy with the microwave. Hoping the inside will not chip off like the prior model. The instructions state you need to keep the inside DRY. It's sort of a pain to wipe off the dampness after each use.

We are in the middle of remodeling our kitchen. We bought a new Panasonic microwave to go with our new kitchen, even though the one we had for 21 1/2 years still worked great. This microwave has been wonderful. It evenly heats. Popcorn comes out perfect. I especially like that I can cook corn in a 13 x 9 dish and the turntable is big enough to accomodate it. I am using it as a main source of cooking right now along with the grill since I don't have a kitchen. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

I repaced the exact microwave that i had for. 10 years. I like the size and the features. Appliances dont seem to last as long as they use to, so 10 years was a pretty good timeline

Easy to use. Cooks quickly and evenly. Large cook space. Not 'smudge proof' so, a bit more maintenance is needed to keep the stainless clean.

We are very pleased with the Prestige (Chrome) Panasonic Microwave. It is powerful and heats/cooks food evenly and quickly. It is user-friendly as well as sleek in appearance. The online order process was so easy and delivery was quick. All in all, this is an A+++ purchase!

I looked for size and features, then price. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I use it several times a day and have had no problems outside of getting the popcorn right. Each product is a little different so you just need to listen for slowing pops. Doesnt seem to get fingerprints on the stainless finish which was a worry.The sensor reheat feature is a must. The finished temp is managed by the microwave and is custom to each food item. No more timing, checking, and adding more time. The micro does this for you.
